He was never going to join. All he wanted was Bayern. Lets be frank, why would he join adrid over Bayern?

Because every player in this world wants to join Madrid and none would refuse them if given the opportunity

Most probably . But isn't Lewandowski joining Bayern in the summer , he still has the season left. Or will he move directly as a free agent to Bayern in January , since he's free to sign the contract with them? i am bit confused..

Whenever he joins though , they will probably rotate , nevertheless i can already see Lewa playing more than him when he becomes a Bayern player. Maybe Mandzukic should go the other way , that would be nice.

2nd January is the first legal date Bayern and Lewandowski can negotiate a contract and Bayern can sign him for next summer, and nothing official will and can be announced before that.

He will join us in summer after his contract has run out, and I very much expect Mandjukic to be dropped.
If Mandju leaves then.. who knows

Well, at least Robert Lewandowski makes true his promise to give everything for Dortmund in the last season he plays for them. One can blame him for all the media stuff his agents and he set off, but one can't blame him for lack of professionalism on the pitch.

But I don't know which player would do such a thing to willfully perform worse for a season just because he has to fulfill his contract.
Also Dortmund is not a bad place to have to play another year...

And if he would behave childishly, we shouldn't sign him anyway.

Lewa has always been a superb proffesional . That's the main reason he got where he is today tbh.

As for Mandzukic , i don't know . I think Guardiola would be mad to let him go , but what do i know. Since Pizarro is probably going to leave in the summer , i would say keeping Mandzukic is a must. Lewa-Mandzukic and occasionally Muller up front is pretty strong and enough for all competitions.

Dzeko at Dortmund should be great to see , agreed. Mandzukic would be good as well , but perhaps they have already set sights on Dzeko , who knows. Maybe Klopp has identified Lewa's replacement and it's neither of them , but in any case , Dzeko should be a fine addition if they want to pay up.

IIRC Voller came out saying Bayer would only sell Vidal to foreign clubs, despite Vidal stating he wanted to join Bayern back in June 2011.

I'm not sure how this will work out in terms of who is the first choice striker, because people over look how important Mario is to our 4-1-4-1 press.

I have no doubt Lewandowski is up to the task, but I think Mario will have his shots early to stake his claim to the spot just due to the learning curve.

You mean Bayern should make bids for Suarez and Zlatan, too?

Lewa is a top 3 ST in the world (along with Ibra and Suarez) You guys are going to be completely on a different level in terms of having someone who can make a difference in big matches.

I like Bayern's style. We don't let Dortmund get to strong because we buy their players before they can do a lot for Dortmund.

My scouting report on Lewandowski is that he will make a great target man, or a poacher since he is a great finisher. Lewandowski is the kind of finisher you need to go deep in the Champions League.
I guess his cons are that he's not the most mobile forward but the others should make up for that.

Lewandowski not mobile, WHAT?

Relatively immobile anyway. He's not slow but when you're playing next to Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery you have to keep up.
