Next Starting RB for Spain
Arbeloa's heir?
Azpilicueta - Easily the best & most experienced defender of the three but not as good going forward as Montoya and Caravan. Has a huge disadvantage compared to the other two playing in the DL. Looks like a rapist.
Caravan - Montoya's backup for the NT and backup for Godbeloa at his club. Had the best overall season in a perfect system to maximize his attacking talents. Solid defender. Could force himself into Madrid's starting lineup if he has a good preseason.
Montoya - Best of the three attacking wise but also the least experienced. Has Alves ahead of him and plays under a manager that doesn't favour youth. Probably the most suited of the three for the system. Shocking defender.

Re: Arbeloa's heir?
Montoya. Best rightback since Cafu.
On the other hand Arbelol could do a Maldini and go for another 10 years.

He isn't shit offensively. He is just not overcommitting like all the other wingbacks these days.
Also Azpilicueta's name is far too shit to get into the Spain XI. You have all those sexy and manly names like Torres, Xavi, Ramos, Silva intimidating opponents all these years and then you want to go and mess it all up by throwing in Ass-pill-a-kwatta into the mix? No, thanks.

will probably be azpilicueta, but if they want to go more attacking then definitely carvajal.

Re: Arbeloa's heir?
If Carvajal becomes a starter at Madrid next season I don't see why he wouldn't start for the NT. Clearly the best of them and Montaya won't start over Alves next season.

Azpilicueta is better than both by a mile.

Carvajal wins
Clearly the best after one season within the Bundesliga? I guess we forgot that Azpi has been performing for over 3 years now and still trumps U-21 Bench player and Europa League flop Carvajal in offence and defence Lets hold our horses
Futbol wrote:GTFO with the DL bias.
GIL WTF is this title? Arbeloa doesn't deserve to have an "heir" called to his name as he merely is a journeyman who is atrocious for us.
Yes cause an Arsenal fan would have PL bias for his London rival despite having 0 allegiance to him Pot kettle etc
OT: Azpilicueta is the best by a mile in offence and defence. Proven for 3+ in Ligue 1, now PL and of course, his epic performances within the Champions League. Can play LB and RB and recovers like a boss from injuries. Not even close.
Carvajal was the best RB by a mile within the Bundesliga yet flopped hard within Europa League and is yet unproven after only one season of Bundesliga. 2nd best prospect after Azpi though.
Montoya? WTF. Defensively he unproven and so far only good in marking. Offensively he is LOL. One-footed, headless chicken in the final third and only a trifle of flair coming down the midside.

Re: Arbeloa's heir?
Carvajal was considered the top young fullback in Bundi last year... let's see how he does at Madrid. Until he shows it here, there isn't much to talk about.
Azpi is solid at least and had good experience. He takes it by default for now. Montoya is not that impressive to me.

Carvajal will ostracize Arbeloa from both NT and Real Madrid.

Re: Arbeloa's heir?
Azpilicueta, He is the most experienced of the three as well as the most proven. He will be our starting RB next season and that will help him to get into the NT. Montoya and Carvajal aren't even starters.

Re: Arbeloa's heir?
Carvajal was the starter for 31 league games at Leverkusen... he also started 2 EL games and 2 cup games. Was only a s substitute in 1 game.

Carvajal was a starter for Leverkusen
