Thiago is not for sale, JDS failed just like his brother and his professionalism didn't help his national career either.
Thiago, S. Roberto are all ahead of JDS and when we bought Song last summer he had no chance.

Re: Wait Jonathan dos Santos is 23???
Catalan paper 'Sport' say Thiago Alcantara can leave for €18m because of a clause in his contract, so Thiago obviously is for sale if he wants to leave.
While 'Mundo Deportivo' are saying that incase Thiago leaves, dos Santos still won't get a chance but Sergi Roberto will be promoted from B-team. Rafinha could go on loan to Celta Vigo.
So Jonathan dos Santos will be off this summer, not sure who's interested.

Re: Wait Jonathan dos Santos is 23???
Thiago is not for sale technically because the club doesn't want to sell him, that's like me saying Messi is for sale.. so long as people meet his 250m release clause
Thiago's situation is odd he may stay if he believes the club will play him more and he hasn't openly said he wanted to leave, his agent like everyone elses agent is using other clubs to maybe increase Thiago's contract and add pressure to Barca.
Kinda like how CR7 is using Man U and PSG as leverage to push Madrid to give him a better contract, and or desires.
Barcelona also wanted to loan out JDS in January but for some reason he wanted to stay at the club despite being told he wasn't going to get minutes, maybe he believed something would happen? idk.
All in all we will have to wait and see what happens.

Well, we are helping them to fail following Madrid's path with youngsters thanks to Rosell and Tito.

101 caps after 2 seasons in the first division for Thiago despite playing in a squad with the most stacked midfield of all time (without a knee ligament injury he'd have played even more).
Jonathan was never "the next Xavi". It was his brother Giovani who was hyped as the "next Ronaldinho".

Thing is, You can be the next Xavi all the time, but when you get no playing time, then its a moot point. He has not progressed one iota since he arrived there.
Barca has failed Jonathan Dos Santos. He needs to move now, and Alcântara, should be preparing his own move too.

Jonathan Dos Santos is like Xavi and Iniesta ': Sergi Busquets
Are you reading what you're quoting?
“Romeu es un jugador físico y muy potente, pierde pocos balones, defiende muy bien y es muy completo, en ese sentido es más parecido a mí, mientras que Jonathan es un poco más ofensivo, más de tener el control del balón, más parecido a Xavi o a Iniesta”, afirmó.
Nowhere does anyone imply that JdS is "the next Xavi". Busquets merely points out that Oriol Romeu is a more physical type of player who likes to defend while Jonathan is more of an offensive-minded midfielder who likes to control possession à la Xavi or Iniesta.
I'm sure that authors of Goal.com can somehow turn this into "Busquets says dos Santos is the next Xavi" but ... yeah. We're not on Goal.com here.

Re: Wait Jonathan dos Santos is 23???
Do people even realise Thiago has played more games in his first two years in the first time than Xavi or Iniesta? ( despite his injuries)
If he doesn't want to be patient that is up to him, but he's definitely getting his chances when he's fit and available.
People today are just too impatient and expect him to start every game now though.

Dos Santos is an idiot. Tito has made it clear to him that he needs to *bleep* off on loan because Tito isn't planning to utilize him but the guy rejects to leave and wants to sit out his contract on the stands so he can have fun off the pitch with his friends in Barcelona. 0 ambition. A total tool like his brother. This is just from today:
Jonathan dos Santos (23) does not plan to leave Barcelona this year, not even on loan. The Mexican midfielder has a contract until 2015 [lx]

Montoya, Thiago, Tello...What they aren't starting every game ahead of virtually the best players in their positions? Absolute failures! They should go to Benidorm!
Even Bartra is excelling at the Euro U21s and decent teams wants JDS despite him playing about 60 mins of football in a year. They are good players, its not even an argument.

I dont think he should have to go on Loan to get decent, or even consistent, playing time.
Barcelona had La Liga won in like January. You telling me he couldnt get playing time then? It is just bad management.
I could see if he was some scrub, but he is a legit player.

He was never going to be the next Xavi or Iniesta lol. He was going to be a back up for Busquests but due to not impressing in preseason as well as the signing of Song, he was never going to get minutes. He will probably never get many minutes at all and probably needs to head off...

Well, you really have to wait until he's like 28/29 to compare him to Xavi. Xavi did nothing particularly spectacular prior to Guardiola. He was just a good midfielder.
