Simply amazed again about how deep the side missions are Laughing

They are so rich with story that quite frankly i sometimes forget i'm actually playing a side mission. At least 95% of games don't even get this much care and attention to detail in their main missions.

Also i checked the stats, i think its glitched because it said i have played 5 days and 5 hours. No way that's right Laughing

I told you lol, it records the whole time you turned witcher on even if you aren't playing.

Also agreed about side quests. Still doing them. Not progressed with the main story at all.

Even then it doesn't make sense, because it was 3 days and 16 hours earlier today lol....

Somethings up i think.

On the horses i just did a side mission where i *bleep* up because i accidently went the wrong way and some man was angry with me for losing Sad

I'm trying to mix and match between the story, general exploring, side quests, monster contracts and doing them treasure hunts for special weapons and armor.

I think i have striked a decent balance so far, don't want to get to a point in the story and then feel like i'm going weeks in the games time without following up on it Laughing

I am going days without touching the main quest. I keep getting lured into the question marks and trying to kill enemies way higher than me.

I still don't know half the stuff in the game. Seen so many people do mad ting with the alchemy and bombs and shit. I just play it like a hack n slash lol

So, I just started playing.... I really wanted to kill those 2 idiots in the bar at the beginning.

There is so much depth to this game that I'm literally just riding my Horse and killing anything that moves. I haven't even gone to ask the guy about the dead dudes killed by the Griffin. Laughing

Your not far enough in the story yet brah, need to get to Novigrad and do the first couple of missions there.

BTW checked the stats again and now it says I have 4 days and 5 hours instead over 5 days like yesterday so it definitely glitched lol.

If that is actually legit then 100 hours Proud

I remember being level 3 when I did the griffin fight, not so sure what I was when I went to Velen Laughing

Been schooling everyone in Gwent in velen so far. Running around in level 4 among level 8s is horrible. Easy enough to kill, might have to adjust difficulty. Unless the difficulty increases a lot from this point?

There should be lower level missions than 8, hell Novigrad starts at 10 and there's shit tonnes to do before that point.

I doubt anyone is this far yet, but if you can until it's patched avoid a mission called "The Kings Gambit" there's a bug at the end of it which leads to just a loading screen.

Which i have found out the hard way Sad

they say it's being fixed but as of right now it makes the game unplayable.

When i backed out for the 10th time i found that there is a 500mb patch that's been released hmm

Here's the patch notes.

Corrects a bug where the player was able to shoot bolts at friendly NPCs.
Corrects an issue related to Stamina regeneration while sprinting.
Corrects a bug that could cause spontaneous combustion of gas clouds.
Reduces spawn times for certain groups of NPCs.
Blood particles will now properly appear on water surfaces after foes are killed.
Corrects a visual effect in the Wandering in the Dark quest.
Improves foliage behavior in scenes.
Reduces foliage shadow popping.
"Melltith" sword is visible again.
Fixes some minor graphics bugs in gwent.
Corrects some missing translations in localized versions.
Improves performance, especially in cutscenes and during gameplay.
Introduces a number of minor improvements in SFX.
Fixes an issue that could have caused an infinite loading screen in certain circumstances in Wandering in the Dark quest.
Corrects an issue in the dialogue system that might have caused rare instances of dialogue looping in certain scenes.
Improves stability in gameplay and the UI, especially during games of gwent.
Upgrading items included in gear sets no longer destroys rune sockets on said items.
Fixes an occasional bug in the Journal in the Fake Papers quest.
Enlarges the loot pop-up window in the UI.

That is annoying though, luckily i have shit tonnes of side quests, monster contracts and undiscovered locations to explore anyway.

Yea that quest is only problematic if you are impatient. I did the quest first and then activated it Laughing

I am forced to do the main quest now because I am too under-levelled for Velen. Every side quest is impossible to do atm.
