Re: Witcher 3
PC will always be the logical choice if you have the PC powerful enough to run it in full specifications.
But i don't think anyone has a clue what those specs are yet.
It's going to look amazing either way though.

Re: Witcher 3
Delayed until February 2015
"Dear gamers - we know many of you would have liked to play The Witcher 3 sooner, as soon as possible, even. We’re sorry to make you wait longer than you, or we, initially assumed you would. At the same time, we believe the game will prove to be worth the wait and meet the expectations you have of us. We believe The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be an exceptional RPG, one of the best, providing many hours of wonderful entertainment."

Re: Witcher 3
As said in General Gaming thread its hardly a surprise.
They never stuck to a date just "2014" and a game this size without any deadline to be stuck to it was always likely to be delayed.
I don't think its that bad a thing though.... if it takes 2 extra months to get them to create a game which is as good as it humanly can be then i'm all for it.
That and i won't be forced to buy a PS4 until 2015 now

Re: Witcher 3
Since Red Dead for me
There's only one concern i have, it's the open world.
I have concerns they can create a living, breathing world while keeping the structure of the story intact.
Haven't seen a single open world game do both, so it does concern me i don't like Bethesda games because the story and gameplay is non existent compared to the sandbox they create.
I'd much rather have a linear game how it was than make an open world and turn it into a Skyrim where the story is an afterthought at best.
Hopefully they can reach their goal of combining both, if so best RPG ever made without a doubt.

I really couldn't tell if combat had been worked on or not lol.
It was such a small sample size to take anything from.

Re: Witcher 3
Really hard for me to compare Witcher 2 combat to anything off the top of my head.
Only that its quite free flowing by most RPGs standards and involves both magic signs and swordplay and that you create potions for various things etc etc.

Same M99, it was a slow burner but the further you got into the game the better it got.
Much better than most RPGs combat which i find very stiff and boring.

Re: Witcher 3
Dev bloke said story and side quests will easy consume 100 hrs.
Obviously if the world is as deep as they say it is you could probably sink more into it.
