Ilicic would be a PERFECT signing in my opinion. Can play as a RW or as a mezz'ala. He also has a thunderous shot.

AC Milan are looking at recalling Corinthians strikers Alexandre Pato following Giampaolo Pazzini’s recent injury.
The Italian will require knee surgery that will keep him out of action for up to six months.
Corriere dello Sport claims Milan will address this loss by approaching their former player Alexandre Pato.
The Brazilian returned to his homeland only five months ago and Silvio Berlusconi had made it clear his departure was a only temporal.
Pato still has strong ties with Milan, particularly his relationship with Barbara Berlusconi.
Both Alessandro Matri and Marco Borriello have also been linked with return moves to the San Siro club.

I would prefer Cerci because he could link up with Balo and SES more easily since they can all play in the national team.

Saponara has been on fire this season. He just scored a double in Empoli's playoff win over Novara.

From what i saw in the Novara match, Saponara occupies the space behind the striker. He occasionally drifts outwide too. Wouldn't mind testing the 4-2-3-1 during pre season

Exactly, Saponara is a CAM (Italian Kaka comparisions come from there). At first I thought we will slowly transition to a 4-2-3-1 but I heard about how 4-3-3 is being integrated to Primavera too as it will be the formation of the new Milan for years to come. Either we will play a 4-2-3-1 or Saponara will be Didac's new soul bro. He has no place in a 4-3-3. He is average on the wing, he was originally a winger where he was putting meh performances, after he moved to the centre he exploded like a freakin bomb, and honestly I don't think a player like that can play CM. I would not mind a 4-2-3-1 at all. A double pivot of Montolivo and De Jong would be very effective with Cristante and Ambrosini as back ups with a forward line of new RW/Niang/Boateng-Saponara-El Shaarawy-Balotelli.

The 4-2-3-1 is my favorite formation. It is very effective because we can play centrally and out wide thus giving us more options in attack, in defence we would need good CBs. I would love the following:
------------------------Abbiati/Perin-----------
--Abate----Ogbonna----------------Mexes-----De sciglio
--------------Montolivo--------De Jong-----------
------------------------Saponara---------------
---Cerci----------------------------El Shaarawy-----
--------------------Balo----------------------------

---Cerci----------------------------El Shaarawy-----
--------------------Balo----------------------------

Illicic over Cerci by far. Younger, more talented, higher ceiling

I think Cerci has reached his peak, not a big club player

I wouldn't mind any of illicic or cerci, but illicic could also be cheaper.

Our 3 Milanisti and our potential Milanista, Andrea Poli. Sign of things to come?
Or just a really GOAT picture?

If it weren't so grainy I'd demand that everyone use it for their avatar, it's that damn epic.

There is not yet a reliable source, however it appears that we will not be retaining Bojan, hardly surprising given our meagre offer of 5 million euros.
