Lmfao.
Also, is that twitter page strictly about what happened? Or should I expect book spoilers?

Re: Game of Thrones - Part 2
I think it's just twitter reaction but now that you've mentioned it I wouldn't take any risks. FFS when it comes to this series just do everything you can for the internet is dark and full of spoilers.
Anyway really going to be awesome to see where the series goes from here. People thinking that the story is over are assuming (and forgetting) way too much.

Re: Game of Thrones - Part 2
Excellent episode.
Even though I had read the book, watching the red wedding still made by mind and body react violently.
Michelle Fairley put on a TREMENDOUS performance and her actions and expressions were portrayed exactly same as in the book. Epic kudos to that actress.
They should have kept the song going. It really gave me goosebumps but they shouldnt have stopped playing it. I got no other complaints.
will add more when i am using my pc..

Re: Game of Thrones - Part 2
Michelle Fairley has been pound for pound the best actress in the whole series for me. Seriously she was amazing in almost every scene she was in.
Also I think lack of music was fantastic. It made the scene real and intimate really gut wrenching. Music in a scene usually stylises it, this scene needed to be harrowing and it totally was.

Re: Game of Thrones - Part 2
Book readers, I guess Talisa's fate debunks the hips don't lie theory, eh?
And yeah, no music, just silence was perfect. Haunting stuff. Michelle Fairley deserves to get nominated for an Emmy, that was heart wrenching stuff, even reading the books, "Robb, get up!" had me shaken. I don't know whether I should rewatch the scene again...
Also things aside from Red Wedding, Jon finally gives that ass Orell the stab he deserves. Bran helping Jon At least Bran got to see his brother.
That fighting scene in Yunkai Jorah Grey Worm Daario All of them had different fighting styles, one of the most kick ass scenes
And Rickon All the jokes about him having 3 lines in 3 seasons, that kid can act Well done boyo.

All dem main characters getting diced up.
Powerful scene. Might have to watch it again without 'YOU BASTARDS, YOU *bleep* BASTARDS. LEAVE THEM ALONE' running through my head.
Wolf scene killed me tbh.

Still *bleep* devestated that like 6 or 7 people I liked got cut up like it was nothing.
Curious, for those who don't actually know what happens via the books. What do you think happens to Robs army now?

"If you cant beat em, join em"
Or so they say, i don't there's going to be A "North" anymore, Tywin played everything perfectly with Sansa's marriage
Now they control the north, and with Cersei marrying that Tyrell dude. Their pwer will extend even further
Westeros is basically the Lannister's now...
The only people i can see cause trouble are the Greyjoys and Stannis
With Stannis sending his shadow to kill Balon Greyjoy, that leaves him only..
Argh , i can't believe the season is ending next week

Re: Game of Thrones - Part 2
I guess we can now talk about differences with how it played out in the books?
I'll spoiler tag this but it has no future spoilers, so non-book readers shouldn't be afraid to click unless they plan to read book 3
Anything I missed?
I'll spoiler tag this but it has no future spoilers, so non-book readers shouldn't be afraid to click unless they plan to read book 3
- Spoiler:
- -In the books they make it a point that as soon as someone eats the bread and salt of a house they are now protected by religion. Should any harm reach the guests the seven gods will curse them. So Robb & Co understandably felt very safe as breaking this would be considered a major taboo.
- Robb's wife does not go with him to the wedding
- Grey Wind breaks free and manages to kill a number of Freys before being killed himself
- Throughout the books we get to know and like Robb's bannermen, such as the Umbers, Mormont's sister, the Manderlys, etc whereas they weren't really developed in the series. So even more people we liked died.
- We see part of it from Arya's perspective and the chapter ends with her getting wacked in the face and going black, we don't know whether she lives or dies.
Anything I missed?

Wait, so Robb's wife lives through this? If so then why change it?
And thanks for enlightening on the bread and salt aspect, didn't really understand it

Re: Game of Thrones - Part 2
No way is his wife living in the TV series. She was stone cold dead looking in a room full of people who wanted her dead.
I'm glad they killer her off in the sense that if she was the sole survivor she'd be depressed, broken and not really a threat to anybody who done her any wrong anyway.
Her death (and the babies) was a big shock factor on the screen. Excellently played out.

Re: Game of Thrones - Part 2
Robb's wife in the book and Robb's wife in the show are completely different characters. In fact what happened to Talisa was a surprise to book readers as well because she wasn't in the book. There were lots of theories about ....
Also I'm glad they didn't do the Robb/Greywind scene like they did in the book.
Same as BC the spoilers posted have no future events so you're safe unless you want to read the books.
Not sure how to break this to you but there is a scene that shows what happens to Robb's army.... The Freys and The Boltons weren't drinking with the rest of the men and they basically did to them what they did to Robb.
Just keep watching mate, this is what is amazing about this series, characters die but the world moves on and reacts to what happens
- Spoiler:
- Robb having a son/daughter because his wife in the book may have been pregnant and Talisa was pregnant on the show but a few quick stabs to the belly quickly destroyed all those theories
Also I'm glad they didn't do the Robb/Greywind scene like they did in the book.
- Spoiler:
- In the book Robb basically dies twice ffs
