Tbh, wouldn't mind to swap Gundogan to Khedira, but I would still keep Alonso as long as he is fine to being in rotation. The only problem is that we would be lacking any enforcer in the midfield and don't know if something like this could work:

Isco/Di Maria-----Özil/Modric

Sahin/Alonso-----Gundogan/Illarramendi

The CM's would have to pretty sit really deep all the time since they're not the most aggressive or best at tackling. Although it's not like Khedira and Alonso were any better either, so maybe it could work after all.

We need a DM be it Kondogbia or Illaramendi and that quick because thats the position that needs improving not the CM position. If Isco comes and we wrap up a DM then that will wrap up our summer

lol i dont think modric is better then gundogan, i also think we need a dm which surprisingly we havent been linked to any.

why is camacho, lars bender never been linked to us.

we also need to get rid of khedira and alonso (unless he is ok with bench/rot).

The club are still negotiating for Bale. Apparently the club have told Bale to ask Spurs so he can leave early, however it wouldn't happen until mid July.

Perez apparently wants to use Di Maria as part of the Bale deal.

isco and gundogan would cost 50mil combined.

thats less than what bale would cost us.

throw in a new centre back and promotions for morata, jese, jesus and nacho and madrid should be set for the new season.

after that the club may even have enough to splurge on cavani.

How can you not know?

Defensive mid is a player who sits in front of the defence and protects it, they offer little in terms of attack but cover the defence well. EG. John Obi Mikel. Luiz Gustavo.

Holding midfielder is the same as DM, the player that holds back in attacks and offers a deeper option.

Deep-lying playmaker, Alonso. Pirlo. Players who sit deep, read the game well and are good at controlling it, they are also generally solid in defence as they are the last man in midfield.

A playmaker is obvious, someone who creates, dictates the play and sits in a more attacking position than a DLP.

A central midfielder is very generally but I apply it to people who cannot cover the defence alone. E.g Lampard, Gerrard, Gundogan.

Generally there are two different types of Central Midfielders, Playmakers, such as Gundogan or Box to Box, this is a player who will attack and defend all day long. They are up and down the field and offer something in terms of attacking and defending, they are not the best at either but a useful to have around. For Example: Ramires, Khedira or the ultimate B2B: Vidal.

Kinda just wish we just inject tons of youth talents to our first team X castilla squad.

Like players from these youth tournoments.

That way we will have alot of talented kids in reserve playing for castilla and first team if needed and when they perform.

Kurt Zouma (Both), Joao Cancelo (Castilla, then FT), Lucas Digne (first team), Ruben Pardo (Castilla, then FT), Camacho (first team), Pablo Sarabia (Both), Florian Thauvin (Both), Bruma (Castilla, then FT).

Project to secure the future, and hope that another neymar, bale situation doesn't happen.

This is just an unrealistic wish though.

Sven Bender is the DM not him. he plays Sahins position which is precisely CM so yh

we have great youth currently coming through the ranks. We have so many players at all levels of youth in Spain we dont need to buy crazy amounts of youth

Honestly if it came to a choice between him and Bale I would choose him any day. He can also slot in at CF if needed be. More importantly we can continue with our 4-2-3-1 formation and if the Callejon to Napoli rumour are true the that would leave Jese/Isco as back up there as well as for Ronaldo which means they will get plenty of playing time.

Liverpool wants £50 mil for Suarez, which is over €60 mil euros...  all i can say is And no parent will want their kid to idolize Suarez... so the marketing angle for Flo is non-existent.

the guy looks like the kind who would hand in a transfer request if we made a serious offer so I am not too fussed about his fee because it would obviously go down

David Moyes is set to begin work as Manchester United manager next week against the backdrop of further speculation about a return for former golden boy Cristiano Ronaldo.

It has been suggested for weeks now that United believe they can lure Ronaldo back to Old Trafford, where he left in 2009 for Real Madrid in a world record £80million deal.

And a report in Spanish newspaper El Pais today claimed a meeting would be taking place between United officials and Ronaldo "in the next few days" to see if there is any likelihood of a transfer being completed. United have not commented on the report.
