In an interview today Perez confirmed a couple of things:

Carvajal will be bought back to the club 100% and that Zidane has requested and thinks Jese is good enough to continue on at Madrid in the first team.

He also confirmed that him and Jose agreed to part ways back in January

Also he admires Isco but is unsure if we as a club need him right now

Bale and Isco's positions are similar. Both can play AM/LW, however we need a RW.

They might work at RW, however would be kinda risky.

Nope. He played Second Striker.

im no expert on spurs, but from around 10-15 matches ive seen them play this season bale was playing mostly through the middle and drifting to the sides in almost every game,and when he wasnt doing that he was on the LW,

Real could be doing a really idiotic signing if they buy Bale to play purely in the RW.They should just buy a right winger really...

thing is, how many right wingers are at that elite level nowadays? just seems to me like he will be put in a similar situation than di maria. up on the right wing so he can cut inside. that's how wingers play nowadays, all on the opposite side of the dominant foot. Ribery, robben, nani, reus, hazard etc...

If we play a 4-3-3 it might work. Bale and Ronaldo would be inside forwards.

However in a 4-2-3-1 it'll be harder for us to improve our possession with Bale at RW and Ronaldo at LW. We'll probably continue being a counter-attacking side. Especially if we sign Cavani, who apparently is just a finisher and not good with the ball etc.

You need to fix your defence rather than attack imo. And you also need a DM to replace Song. 25m for Jovetic would be stupid as you have other priorities. (Nothing against him as a player, he is CLASS but you need to fix what's broken.)

Defense really isn't broken, Vermaelen was. Least away goals conceded in the league. As soon as Vermaelen was dropped the defense has been infinitely better. Went undefeated for a long stretch in the last half of the season when Mert and Koscielny were paired together. Kos has been world class. Would have zero issue starting the same backline next year

A more physical presence in the midfield is needed but the attack definitely needs upgrading as well. No reason both can't be addressed. Have no depth at Striker, and pretty much the one good one we have, we don't do him many favors by playing in a system to play to his strengths. Jovetic would fit right in and give the attack, which has been pretty toothless at times, much more creativity, and help take a lot of pressure off of the other players we do have and help them settle into their more natural roles. In theory at least.

Still not convinced by Mertesacker in your high line and you continuosly have problems with keepers in every season. Should go for a Brad Friedel type. (Someone cheap / free just to help give that experience and extra hand when Szy is injured.)

And you need to go out and make sure you sign leaders. Signing experience isn't enough. You need someone to give you that bottle / mental edge over other teams. Vermaelen for me has struggled with the extra responsibility as the captain and his performances for me at least show that.

Jovetic isn't really that. I still find 25m for him too much in your current position. He's definitely worth it, but I don't know, I see more problems in your squad than your attack. Wouldn't be a bad signing if you do get him as he's class but your defence doesn't really strike me as solid.

Mertesacker is perfect with Koscielny. Per is a "stay at home" CB while Kos likes to be aggressive. It has worked magnificently. Should have worked with Vermaelen too... but Vermaelen forgot how to defend lol.

Majority of your keepers since Seaman has left Arsenal have been error prone.

We haven't played with a high line since the Spurs game and even then, it was Vermaelen who was caught out, not Mertesacker.

Mertesacker's been more consistent than Koscielny this season and has performed well against all types of opposition, from Suarez to Crouch. He brings experience and composure to the backline and has formed a great understanding with Koscielny that allows Koscielny to play the way he does.

I fail to see how defence is a problem for us, really. Second best defence in the league, best away defence in the league. Conceded just five times in our remaining 10 league games.

The weakness of the squad is in forward areas. A few high scoring games distort our scoring stats a bit as our attack is often dysfunctional and lacking in decisiveness. Giroud and Podolski are good players but we need better, hence the interest in Jovetic and the willingness amongst the fans to pay the £25mil.

Barcelona are reportedly keen to send youngster Gerard Deulofeu out on loan next season to Borussia Dortmund.

Deulofeu recently renewed his contract with Barca to June 2017, with the club now seen as keen to develop his potential with a loan spell away.

The Catalans reportedly have identified Dortmund as an ideal location, on from their apparent interest in signing the player this summer before he renewed with Barca.

No official talks have begun, but Mundo Deportivo understand that Barca would opt for the youngster heading out to the Bundesliga side for a season-long loan, over other clubs said to be interested, such as Real Sociedad and Ajax.
