Former Genoa defender Domenico Criscito could be on his way back to Serie A with Fiorentina.

The 26-year-old, currently with Zenit St. Petersburg, has attracted the interested of the Viola who will be looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the Europa League campaign.

According to La Repubblica, the Italy international would be willing to reduce his €3 million a season wages in order to make the move happen.

Criscito has made 48 appearances for Zenit since moving there in 2011.
