AW On Ryo:
"I have great hopes for Ryo because he has the traditional Japanese qualities," Wenger told Arsenal Player. "Japanese players technically have a very good touch, they are mobile, agile, a bit lightweight but they move well. It's usually a player that has a great attitude towards the team.
"Ryo has a fantastic attitude for sure. He has just come out of rehab after a big knee injury, and the physios have told me they have never known an attitude like it. So he has those qualities, and as well he is tricky, has great pace, and works very hard.
"He has to learn to become mature tactically - shrewd tactically - but all the rest, he has."

Journalist: "Could Arsenal pay a £25m fee & £200k a week wages?" Gazidis: "Of course. We could do more than that." http://bit.ly/16NYY08
Re: Arsenal Lobby
Stewart Robson doesn’t believe Arsene Wenger should be handed a transfer warchest this summer – as he will simply waste the money.
The Gunners chief will be allowed to spend £70million in the transfer window as the north London club look to catch up with Man United, Man City and Chelsea.
But former Highbury favourite Robson claims the Frenchman’s previous buys have been woeful – and he expects more of the same this summer.
“I’m not expecting any marquee signings at Arsenal,” he told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show. “There’s a lot of talk about it but I don’t know if I would trust Arsene Wenger with that money.
“Over the last few years some of the players that he’s said were going to be world class haven’t ended up like that.
“People like Olivier Giroud, Philippe Senderos, Denilson, Marouane Chamakh, Armand Traore, Sebastien Squillaci, Nicklas Bendtner, Carlos Vela, Emmanuel Eboue, Park Chu-Young, Lukasz Fabianskii, Gervinho and Andre Santos.
Over the last few years some of the players that he’s said were going to be world class haven’t ended up like that
— Stewart Robson
“These are the sort of players who Arsene Wenger said were going to be world class players and they haven’t done it.
“Over the last two seasons they have spent some money on Olivier Giroud, Lukas Podolski, Mikel Arteta, Nacho Monreal, Per Mertesacker and Andre Santos. They haven’t been top class players.
“Arsene Wenger doesn’t appear to want to sign the top class players, or what other people would describe as top class players. He goes out and says, ‘I can buy you cheaper players for a better price who are going to be world class players in the future’ but that hasn’t been the case in the last few years.
“Some of the players who he has bought have regressed under him like Andrey Arshavin and Thomas Vermaelen. Nacho Monreal hasn’t been a good signing and Andre Santos has been hopeless for them.
"Per Mertesacker and Lukas Podolski are past their best and Gervinho is another player who they spent a lot of money on and hasn’t really come to the fore.”
has anyone seen a bigger wum than this guy, he is basically a forum troll with a mic

Re: Arsenal Lobby
Though I often agree with Stewart Robson on his view, this time he has seriously gone overboard with views. Is he trying crave for attention with such atrocious comments about AW and Arsenal...?
P.S.Mentioning Denilson and Arteta in the same sentence is itself a disgrace IMO.

Ivan Gazdisi Q&A tonight. Not sure on the time. Would expect to get the same answers as in previous years.
Re: Arsenal Lobby
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain admits he has learnt a lot from a difficult second season at Arsenal and hopes the Gunners’ strong finish to the Premier League campaign can help spur them on to end their eight-year trophy drought next term.
The 19-year-old enjoyed a fabulous first campaign in north London after moving from Southampton in 2011 and forced his way into the England senior side, playing in last summer’s European Championships.
First team starts for the Gunners were harder to come by last season and he made just 11 in the league, but he topped off his term with a stunning goal for England in last week’s 2-2 draw against Brazil.
“It has been an up and down season for me but I have learnt a lot,” Oxlade-Chamberlain told The Mirror.
“No-one knew what to expect from me in my first season at Arsenal and everything I did was a bonus. This season people expect you to continue in the same way, and so did I.
“I have made a few steps forward in certain areas of my game, and had a few setbacks that have helped me to learn.
“But I am happy with how my season has gone, and the way we finished with Arsenal. I’m really looking forward to next season.
“I’m still young, and every day I am involved with either Arsenal or England will help me.
“I have to make sure I keep working hard and hopefully things will go well for me.”
Arsenal chased down a seven-point lead held by arch rivals Tottenham to pip them to a Champions League spot and their 10-game unbeaten end to their campaign has left Oxlade-Chamberlain thinking next term could be the Gunners’ year.
He said: “The way we finished the season and the confidence we take from that will stand us in good stead.”
