Juventus to unveil new stripes

According to Football Italia:

Juventus will reveal their new strips for the 2013-14 season on Friday, but there will be no stars or Scudetto motto.

Last summer the Old Lady decided to withdraw the stars altogether – one star signifies 10 Scudetti – amidst the row over whether the club won their 28th or 30th title last season.

The club insisted it was their 30th, but League records show 28 after they were stripped of their titles in 2005 and 2006 as part of the Calciopoli probe.

Instead, Juve added a ‘30 on the pitch’ motto to their jerseys, but next season’s shirt, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, will not have ’31 on the pitch’.

The Nike home shirt will, rather obviously, remain black and white, but the central stripe will apparently be black rather than white.

The away jersey is set to be yellow, while this season’s black away will become the club’s third strip for next season.

The away kit is very nice. The home kit really could do with stars.

LDon't really like the home kit. The more stripes the better in my opinion.

The away kit is nice but I prefer the black one from this season.

The white one looks like a GK kit. Usually we don't even have a third kit since we usually use the away kit from the previous season as our third kit. If that really is our third kit though I love it an will be getting one.

The article said that the third kit will actually be our black jerseys from this year.

If that is our 3rd kit i'm buying it. FAPFAPFAPFAPFAPFAP.

My favorite Juve home jersey was the 11/12 Jersey with the ridged edges!
I think they need to make the next jersey a little more distinguish because it look just like the current one

I wouldn't mess with a good thing with the home jersey. The small changes are fine. I hated the 11-12 jersey and I hated Barca's home jersey that year too.

I am still guessing that the third shirt will be our current away shirt. That has been the trend the last few years with Juve.

The ridged edges just make it so unique from every other jersey we ever had because it was normally just bolded black stripes

Yea, that Jersey was one of my favorites, along with our Lotto Jersey from 2002-03. The Jersey from 10/11 was nice too. And the away Jersey from 10/11 was my favorite away Jersey ever.

I misspoke. I meant to say the 2010-11 jersey with the razor edges to the stripes.

Both 2011 and 2012 home kits would've been great if Nike integrated the Betclic logo properly.

I'd have loved the 2011 kit infact had that been the case.



But yeah more stripes and more black in our home kit is better tbh.

I much prefer black with some white and black shorts and socks to what we have nowadays with very little black along with white shorts and socks. I don't know why, it looks worse imo.

If the yellow kit from the Football Italia article is correct, I would be completely shocked if Nike finally avoided putting the sticker logo on our shirt and just put the letters of the company. Even the black jersey for this season, which is nice, still has the sticker on it.

I really like the Jeep sponsorship. It's an easy logo to put on our shirts and you can change the color of the lettering to work with the shirt. It's probably our best sponsor since the Sony shirts. The Tamoil shirts were so awful. The colors didn't go with our shirts at all. Our players looked like a horrible advertisement. I hope that we keep Jeep around for a while.

Yeah it baffles me why Nike didn't put Jeep in white on our black kit. I know why they sticker the home kit, because we have vertical light and dark stripes.


But why have a black top with a white rectangle to make the black writing visible when you can just cut out the middle man so to speak and print Jeep in white.

Less cost, looks better and is better.
