Worst season in Premier League history
Boring title-race
Boring champion
Too many boring "Big games"
Many great players who've under-performed
Teams under-performing in Europe
I read a stat that this season was the season with most 0-0 games.
Remember last year when er had some amazing top-games with amazing scorelines.
WE NEED MOURINHO BACK TO SAVE THE PREMIERSHIP!

Nah. United team that won it in 2010-11 season was far worse.
they won 5 away games all season, and no back-to-back away games at all.
I agree, the standard of the league has seriously dropped, though the relegation battle is great (would have been even better if Stoke and Norwich drew last week)

Yeah it was truly pathetic at times this season.
At least we'll be in for a treat in the relegation battle.

Re: Worst season in Premier League history
Expect Manchester United everyone else has been shit tbh.
Next season should be better - Arsenal finally have big money to spend, Chelsea will have Mourinho back, United will make another big signing (according to SAF), Liverpool look better and City will try to buy everyone this summer.
07/08 season is coming back

Re: Worst season in Premier League history
Could have been awesome for all you know
Arsenal signing Podolski, Chelsea signing Hazard and managed by RDM for a full season, Rogers getting his time to prove himself at a bigger club, RVP transfer, AVB returning to EPL blah blah
In the end it was all meh

Re: Worst season in Premier League history
The only boring thing about this season has been the title race, imo.
The two domestic cups have been great, btw. Swansea beating Bradford in the other one while Wigan have made it the to the final in the FA Cup.

Re: Worst season in Premier League history
Even Man United has been sh*t.
Its not like Bayern in Germany, who has dominated and broke several records, playing great football and done great in other cups.
United has been the second best team on the pitch, every time they've met a top team this season.

Re: Worst season in Premier League history
Next season is going to be unreal and probably the best ever, mark my words.
United - GOAT manager. Nuff said
Chelsea - New striker, Hazard/Mata/Hazard will be even better, Mou's back.
Liverpool - I don't care what anyone says they will challenge for Top 4 next year IMO. Coutinho, gerrard, Sturridge, Suarez etc too much talent not to. Just need an energetic midfielder to pair with Gerrard and another goalscorer.
Man City - Shitty transfer season cost them this year. Will be back and better than ever.
Arsenal - Looks like Wenger is ready to spend again
Spurs - X Factor. If they qualify for the CL, Bale will stay and they'll get in new signings. They might fall apart next year if they don't.
Best League in the World.
United are shit. A terrible Chelsea side have abused them in every single game they've faced each other this year.

I try to avoid responding to most of your drivel. You are a troll and you know as much about football as a donkeys arse. Abused? You faced us after the Madrid game where our players were not mentally in it, you neat us at home after we have won the bloody league. If united are shite then the epl is second tier. City are shocking as well. I regret typing this seeing as i've managed to avoid you in all my time here, i dont expect a coherent response from you so this will most likely be my last time interacting with you.

Re: Worst season in Premier League history
The only game United has dominated against a good team this season was against Arsenal at home. Arsenal who were on a terrible run and Arsenal who usually roll over every time they come to Old Trafford.
Against every other big team they've struggled big time.

not just the premier league... barcelona had la liga done and dusted by december, as did bayern with bundesliga... at least the cl is finally exciting for the right reasons, not because of referees screwing up or shitty teams parking their way to the final

Referees not screwing up? Haver there ever been more referees mistakes than in this CL?

They weren't high profile because we were the recipients of most of the bad decisions, so people instead of criticizing them, they are happy.

Re: Worst season in Premier League history
This season CL is easily the worst officiated tournament in memory. Almost every single game had multiple horror calls that affected the outcome.

Re: Worst season in Premier League history
There were quite a few mistakes in the CL.
Bayerns offside goal Vs Juventus was assisted from an offside position (Deserved to lose but a mistake is a mistake)
Lichtsteiner got suspended for being fouled
Mandzukic got suspended for being fouled
Barcelona have had quite a rough time
then you had the whole Nani debate
As for the Prem, it was a pretty boring season. How many big games were disappointing to watch? I'd say most of them.
But it happens, you never know what next season will be like.

How the *bleep* could United be second best team on the pitch if they gained so much points in the direct games? Too much points to be a coincidence. Against Arsenal two weeks ago and Chelsea yesterday, Man United lost points because the title race was over but imagine if they had to win those games what would have happen. Two wins, obviously...
Get out and sing bullshit at another table!
BTW, yes, this was a mediocre season if it comes about entertainment.
Gil wrote:United are shit. A terrible Chelsea side have abused them in every single game they've faced each other this year.
Yes. Chelsea won aganst United in Capital One Cup. Who gives a shit? Nobody cares about that cup. I wish you to win it every year if we always win EPL.
Even in that game on Stamford Bridge ( homecourt advantage), we used one of the weakest teams we could display with about 4 debutants and 9 or 10 reserve players, while Chelsea played with players like Mata, Oscar, Ramires, Hazard, Cech, Luiz etc. Still, your team barely won that game.
FA Cup, you struggled to qualify. You only qualified because our players were a little bit confused after the disaster with Real Madrid and we didn't secure the advtange at 2-0 at OT.
I don't even want to comment about yesterday's game...you won the game, we have already won the title. Go and be happy!
