Its not like Bayern in Germany, who has dominated and broke several records, playing great football and done great in other cups.
United has been the second best team on the pitch, every time they've met a top team this season.
How the *bleep* could United be second best team on the pitch if they gained so much points in the direct games? Too much points to be a coincidence. Against Arsenal two weeks ago and Chelsea yesterday, Man United lost points because the title race was over but imagine if they had to win those games what would have happen. Two wins, obviously...
Get out and sing bullshit at another table!
BTW, yes, this was a mediocre season if it comes about entertainment.
Gil wrote:United are shit. A terrible Chelsea side have abused them in every single game they've faced each other this year.
Yes. Chelsea won aganst United in Capital One Cup. Who gives a shit? Nobody cares about that cup. I wish you to win it every year if we always win EPL.
Even in that game on Stamford Bridge ( homecourt advantage), we used one of the weakest teams we could display with about 4 debutants and 9 or 10 reserve players, while Chelsea played with players like Mata, Oscar, Ramires, Hazard, Cech, Luiz etc. Still, your team barely won that game.
FA Cup, you struggled to qualify. You only qualified because our players were a little bit confused after the disaster with Real Madrid and we didn't secure the advtange at 2-0 at OT.
I don't even want to comment about yesterday's game...you won the game, we have already won the title. Go and be happy!

United were outplayed at Anfield, Stamford Bridge, Goodison, Etihad, WHL
Not sure the luck in some of the games above will continue next season.

It's always luck. We are always lucky. We are lucky since 1902. Fuuck yes! In 1999 it was also luck. We were outplayed by Bayern. Remember? Because I enjoy remembering. I will also enjoy remembering us being lucky at Anfield, Stamford Brdige, Goodison, Etihad, WHL and in every other game from EPL etc. in the 2012/2013 season.
Football is not only about individual skills and technique, it is also about psychic, mentality and winner spirit.

Maybe it's Voodoo. Sir Alex actually controls the players with a gamepad.

Re: Worst season in Premier League history
Its funny, everyone wanks over 2007-2008 etc etc and that era.
But personally i find those seasons incredibly boring.
The top 4 were very strong, but the rest of the league was crap.
The only games that mattered were games between the top 4 and that to me made it boring and a weak league at the time.
No one here will admit that because you all support big teams and CL and Title races is all that matters to you all but the league is much stronger now.
I can guarantee right now that Swansea and West Brom would beat the 5th and 6th place teams of 2007-2008 all day every day.

David Luiz is a medium. He speaks with the dead. Yesterday he invoked George Hilsdon

Re: Worst season in Premier League history
Man Utd didn't really face any strong competition tbh. Weak Chelsea, dumbass Mancini leading City, Arsenal being Arsenal, and a resurgent Tottenbale. Utd deserved to win but there wasn't a big enough fight from other teams.
Re: Worst season in Premier League history
2008-09 was probably the strongest year in Premiership history.
Prime Liverpool, prime Chelsea, prime United, great Arsenal team.

compare it to the annual uefalona conspiracy...
The weird thing is, Barca have been the team most hard done by the refs this season in the CL.

Re: Worst season in Premier League history
I wouldn't say its the worst in history, but the title race was the worst in many years. United were woeful compared to recent seasons yet still won it because Chelsea and City both basically just sucked even worse, and Arsenal and Tottenham simply aren't good enough to be real title contenders. The CL race is pretty good though, between Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, and an outside chance of Liverpool for the two spots between United and City.
Still better than the constant two-horse race called La Liga. Bayern won the Bundesliga in record time, but honestly, judging off of what they did to the La Liga and Serie A champions, that is not the fault of the other BL teams. Bayern are just history-making good this season. Serie A is the most interesting this season by far in my opinion. Juve won the title now, which I'm happy about, but Napoli fought us for a long time, and now the CL and relegation fights are very compelling.

This is true ^^
As for the Prem, it has been on a decline since 2009 to be fair.
