Arsenal were never going to get Higuian once the price was raised and they wont get suarez either now that Madrid need a striker.

Arsenals a club which keeps pulling these PR stunts to appease its fans by making bids which they know wont get accepted

Good business on Napoli's end, but Higuians track record in the CL is dreadful and in the league Juventus are a much stronger team.

He was Reverse Jinxing all along.Like i said he was desperate to see Higuain play in Serie A.

We don't really need Suarez. We should just keep Benzema who can be better.

If we are to buy a striker, it should be an elite finisher. Falcao and Cavani were the favourites, but they didn't join.

Inter does that every year. Last season we made bids for Lucas and Lavezzi knowing PSG were interested. It's a smart way of keeping the fans hopeful without the intention of buying.

Perhaps priced out is the wrong phrase, Madrid's valuation was considered too exuberant for Wenger. He still wanted Higgy, but he didn't think he was worth 40m. Nothing to do with not wanting him at the team.

Its been reported for a long time that Higuain was Wenger's 3rd choice.

He wanted Rooney or Suarez over him, he obviously thinks Suarez is now a viable option and now is going for it.

For his sake i kinda hope he's successful, otherwise its a failure sadly.

Arsene has a value for every player in his head. If that value exceeds, he moves on. That happened with Higuain. Don't blame him really, but if we lose Suarez. Then shit gon be real.
