Napoli prez has come out and said that PSG are not selling Veratti and they are not pursuing him. He also said that everything you hear is agent media manipulation and fabrication to pressure PSG into giving Veratti a large wage...

Yes he deserved much better from Real Madrid. I think our obsession with CL is setting us up for failure big time. Instead of looking to build a team, we want instant success.

So there is this theory that having Higuain as lead striker will set us up for CL failure. I will say this - if the amount of time and effort that was invested by our management in Benzema was put into Higuain, it would have been more worthwhile. I wish the best for Higuain. He was a true madridista and a fighter.

I don't really see what Real Madrid did wrong. It was Higuain who wanted to leave. The club wanted him/ were convincing him to stay.

They did not do enough to keep him. If RM wanted him to stay, he would have. SIMPLE.

See the reaction when Ronaldo was rumored to be leaving. Compare.

Anyway when do madrid ever do wrong. We have always made the right decisions with our transfers.

Plus Higuain wasn't the best in Europe, often missing 1v1's in big games. He was a player known for his finishing, yet Benzema scored around the same amount of goals every season and is more talented on the ball.

Well i guess i am not the only one who is depressed about Higuain leaving. Had Ronaldo left tomorrow, it wouldn't have effected me as much.

Here is an analogy : You can date the prettiest, smartest girl but you cannot force her to fall in love with you (May be enough for some). On the other hand if you are with the woman who loves you, she will do everything in her power to keep you happy.

We can always buy the latest and greatest talent out there. Alas, there are some things money can't buy.

That's true and I'm a Higuain fan as well. However him loving the club and being passionate isn't really enough, talent matters too.

Just because I think Benzema is better doesnt mean I didn't like Higgy or that I'm happy he left, I am sad to see him go and I will always be a fan..
