What is wrong with some people? First, people celebrate Giroud being suspended. Now, people purposely wish we finish outside of the CL spots

hope all those who wanted Giroud out saw what happened yesterday..?Lex wrote:What is wrong with some people? First, people celebrate Giroud being suspended. Now, people purposely wish we finish outside of the CL spots
Podolski never looked comfortable in the position.. injury may be an excuse.. still we will have to start Gervais next match as CF...

Meh not really sure that we really have anything else to sell. Not saying we don't have good players but we will run into the same issues with what we don't want to sell that we run into with the ones that we do want to sell. Other than Sagna, not really sure that anyone we have would march into a top 5 team in the EPL and be a starter. Yea we might be able to sell them to other leagues but then the players have the ability to stop it if they do not want to play in whatever league they just wont sign a new contract. Or other teams will not want to pay inflated transfer fees and inflated salaries.
As for the game there was nothing in it that made me believe that if Walcott's goal would have been called offside that we would have been able to do anything to win the game. The other team seemed quite happy to sit back and try not to loose. Once again we had our possession without purpose game. Cazorla started on the left and played everywhere but there. Eliminating the attack from the left side of the pitch. Allowing the other team to push their defense into the center of the pitch thoroughly stifling our attack, allowing us to use up time passing the ball without prupose and waiting for a counter.

Nothing against Giroud, but just like Podolski he did *bleep* all past few weeks, the whole team was playing bad, but somehow wining games. The only thing I can say is that Giroud was comfortable and was getting used to spot and got suspended.
Anyone who wanted Giroud to get suspended is a idiot, we need all the help we can get and Giroud our only striker would have been nice to have him for the rest of the season.
I was not happy about Giroud getting red carded, but was happy that Podolski will get a chance. I am hearing that Giroud is really stressed out that he is suspended for 3 games.

Think the importance of this point will only be seen when Chelsea host Spurs next week.
IF we win our last three games, we'll have done enough, I think.
Looking like we will need Chelsea to win or draw against Spurs, vital Spurs don't win that game.
Chelsea travel to United on Sunday, hopefully United play with the same intensity as they did against us in second half.

If Chelsea lose to United and then draw Spurs, the ball will be in our courtSamuelj29060 wrote:Think the importance of this point will only be seen when Chelsea host Spurs next week.
