Well Toure and Aspas are the first two I would imagine. Getting Eriksen and Papa would be a very productive, if we could also hold on to Luis and Pepe

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2013
MARCA already reported a few days ago that there had been contact between Luis Suárez and Real Madrid. MARCA can now confirm that a deal to sign the Uruguayan has been struck between both parties.
Aren't Marca shite???

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2013
Real Madrid are not after Navas though... he's after us just like Suarez. We're going after Bale and then we'll see. We're going to buy a RB, DM, CM (if we can get the one we want) and a RW methinks. Carvajal, Kondogbia, if possible one of Pogba/Vidal/Gundogan and Bale.
Just thought i'd mention the peeps we're really pursuing so you can ignore the other nonsense lol.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2013

A near about translation thanks to Google Translate. .
Luis Suarez: "It's a good time for a change of scenery"
The Uruguayan dropped his intention is to leave Anfield: "They have said things that are lies and that one heats it.'s Difficult for me to stay, my family also suffers."
Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez said today that "still" has not talked about a possible move or his club Liverpool, and with Real Madrid, in which some places it means next season, but reiterated that it is "difficult" to stay in the England team by the "harassment" of the press.
"I said to Madrid you can not say no because I think it is normal that big teams in which one always dreams is impossible to say no, but still I have nothing, not spoken, I have spoken or the Real Madrid nor with Liverpool, "Suarez said Thursday at a press conference in Uruguay, where it is concentrated with your selection.
"My agent has not told me anything either and that leaves me alone, but they are speculating," the attacker. The striker, top scorer of Uruguay in South American World Cup Brazil 2014 and second top scorer in the last Premier League, said Wednesday at a Montevideo radio that "say no to Real Madrid will be difficult" and not "prepared to continue holding the British journalists. "
Today put a granite intrigue over his professional future with statements like: "I do not know when I'm going and I do not know if I'm staying." According to Suarez, Liverpool know "perfectly" what he thinks and "the moment" that happened this year in the wake of several controversies in which he was involved, one by directing racist abuse at Manchester United's French defender Patrice Evra and the other by Russian bite the Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic.
The'' 9'' blue selection, which in both cases was slapped with several game suspension and roundly criticized by the British press, recalled Thursday that contracts with Liverpool and if just staying there would be at ease from the sporting point of view, but not personal.
"If I stay, I stay mad for life because it is a great club, but also in turn know that it is difficult for the subject of the harassment I get from the press over there and they know it perfectly," he said. "I had a hard time, very hard, in the things that have been said are lies and that one heats it. Comes from long ago that. One has limits and has family who also suffer and that is very difficult," he stressed.
Suarez will be out on June 11 with the Uruguayan national team against Venezuela in the fourteenth day of World Cup yellow card accumulation. The Celeste played in June's Confederations Cup in Brazil, where the 16th debut against the selection of Spain.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2013
Guys, I am not really concerned about what suarez says or does, i am not even going to criticize it. I will wait until he leaves or window shuts down. I believe in BR for now and next season. We have already tried to cope in the last few matches of the last season without suarez. BR already knows that we are going to start next season without him.
I am just curious n concerned how we utilize the money in case if he truly leaves. As someone suggested it is better to clarify the things with him asap and plan, scout the perfect replcaments which we can get in such circumstances.
Also, I hate that stuff, benzima n demaria for suarez. No wayyyyy... because in case if suarez leaves, they are not the type of players which will help us, doesnt matter if they are good or bad.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2013
Especially if he goes to Real right after they buy Bale, it'll be easy for our front office to demand a price somewhere in the same region considering the seasons they've both had. I don't think it would be disastrous to lose him, although I'd rather he stay, but like HMR I'm just gonna wait until something happens before I freak out or read too much into anything. Too many conflicting reports and statements to lose my head over everything.

Can someone verify this for me. Did Suarez say no one defended him when everyone and their cats started picking on him?

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2013
I won't believe it till I see it. But the general consensus is that he supposedly said "no one defended him" when everyone was picking on him. Which to me is the biggest load of bullshit he could've possibly said.
Seriously I won't be mad at him at all if he wanted a move out. He's a top played who puts the interest of his career ahead of us. And no one can blame him we are currently a mid table club with no European football next season. But to make the excuse that no one defended him here is a load of bullshit. He will never be as loved anywhere else as he was here, that's the truth.
No one can be mad at him if he just stopped talking and asked the club to let him go because him and his family are unhappy with their life in England. That would give us the green light to quickly process his departure and focus on signing a replacement with plenty of time.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2013
I've read both of his recent interviews in original spanish and there was no comment about no-one defending him. In fact, he's stated that he loves Liverpool FC for the support he HAS received, but that even with that support the media have made staying in England stressful and difficult.
Amazing how quickly people are going from supporting him in on-the-pitch incidents to turning on him over candid answers to leading questions and vague comments (not meaning anyone on here, but elsewhere on the internet).
Sports: Thanks for your opinions on Suarez, we'll be sure to take them into consideration.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2013
Thanks Red. My Spanish is not the best so I had no clue if Google Translate was giving me everything word for word or not. Seems to me like he's said nothing wrong really. Would've preferred if he did not say anything at all but Suarez is the sort of guy that will always say what he's got in his mind.
Tbh I still don't think he'll leave. I don't think Madrid will buy both Bale and Luis. And Bale seems Uncle Flo's number 1 target.
