Of course the refs were going to miss those 2 blatantly clear fouls at the end
Still one of the best games I've ever seen tho

I mean they basically let them play all night so at least the officiating was consistent. But Ginobili took 4 steps before he was supposedly fouled(think Ray got enough ball to not make that call) and they missed that too.
Also:
"Tim Duncan entered the game illegally for the final possession of regulation after the referees reviewed Ray Allen's game-tying three-pointer in Game 6.
Reviews aren't technically a dead ball situation, meaning substitutions cannot be made without a timeout. The San Antonio Spurs were out of timeouts, meaning they couldn't make a substitution or advance the ball.
Tony Parker drove to the left baseline and missed a jumper at the buzzer."
Should've been a tech with the free throw winning it in regulation for Miami.

Yep.
That old cowboy looking guy in the shot is the man as well. Some billionaire who's retired and ends up courtside at like 100 NBA games a year.

About to tip off
Mike Wilbon just had the goat rant:
"Coaches like Lionel Hollins, George Karl are being minimized[in this league], while people come in with metrics and they want statistics to run the basketball games. This is suicide, it's stupid. You put your best people on the floor. This is a player's league, this is not baseball with coming up with new statistics. This is professional basketball where stars and great players win."
Blatant shot at John Hollinger, and I loved it.
Lionel Hollins probably at home like:

What?
The Spurs have shot maybe 10 more FTs than the Heat and that last call on Bosh was bogus.

Pop cost the Spurs dearly.
Atrocious coaching throughout the game.
Leaving your best scorer out on the final possession was just pathetic.

Stop that.
Timmy makes that easy hook and we could have a different outcome.

Probably right Izzy . If only Tim Duncan had made that rebound .
Cant begrudge heat though, Lebron was a beast tonight as was Wade . Battier was ridiculous as well .

Re: the official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
Props to LeBron for stepping up huge tonight. 37 and 12 in a game 7.
Didn't want the Heat to win but Ray Allen got another ring, and the win tonight cemented his shot, as imo, the greatest, most important shot ever(at least in the last 35+ years). Think about it, there's Paxson's 3, Robert Horry's 3, Jordan on Byron Scott, but with all them, if they had missed there was still another game to fall back on. GOAT shot.
edit: Bosh laid an egg(insert dinosaur joke here) tonight with 0 points and so did Allen, but I think they both get passes for Game 6.

Manu and Leonard hit their FTs or Timmy makes a hook, you're not saying that.
Their luck ran out and Ray Allen and LBJ were too good.

Props to the Spurs.. I was confident the Heat would though, they play better with their backs against the wall and there is no way I would bet against them in a winner takes all game..
Plus they have the best player since Jordan

Re: the official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
The players making a wrong move at one point doesn't forgive Pops poor decisions later. He clearly made several bad decisions in this game. This entire series. Manu shouldnt have played nearly as much. He cost them so much this series. You can't turn it over against the heat and he did it time and time again. Benching parker there made no sense. Not only is he the best scorer hes the best ball handler.. And when hes not out there, shocker Manu turns it over.izzy wrote:Gil wrote:He cost Duncan his 5th ring. Pathetic overcoaching.

Congrats to the heat but the spurs threw this away big time by making several poor decisions.
