He actually isn't, looking at that close-up scene in the video. Which is surprising because up until now I always thought it was offside.

Spain deserved to win that game anyway. They were unlucky to not already be up by a goal before Villa's goal.

I still think he was offside problem is the angle that would prove it is hard to find. At least any highlights I've seen don't actually give you the ref's angle.

Oh not much to be honest, but let jiopsi and real kandahar see this go at it and they'll find a way. Never underestimate the stupidity of those at GL.

Also- as a cute aside- I don't see why it matters Villa was a step offside or not. Thing is, it was close as hell already, and if you saw the closest defender, if Villa was onside he still would have scored. His extra step didn't actually help him at all. That's not to justify a wrong call, but it's a very picky and bad offside call to be upset about IMO. I mean, it's no Klose or Ibra. Just my 2 cents.

Can I ask what this documentary is, by the way?

I hope its not about their 2010 World Cup. They didnt play one single exciting game that tourney.
