It's not that Barca fans want a player who can replace Xavi...no player can truly do that IMO and we won't see another for a while. Thiago goes some way but he's not Xavi.

The thing is, Cesc is a massive downgrade from Xavi in the CM position. Hell it's been said a billion times, Cesc isn't even a CM anymore and when he's played that position he's been very underwhelming the majority of the time. He's not suited to the CM role and even more than that he's not suited at all to the Xavi role. He can't do it and that's why he should never play there.

Song arrived in our national NT and started acting like he was the boss, massive internal conflicts ensued. Sorry but Song is a prick that has achieved nothing in his career yet acts like he is world class. i hope being benched at barca thought him a lesson.

This is another example of the Savage Premier League ruining another player. How hard was it for that league to sap the Barcelona DNA out of him. It takes 10 years at least. It is a creative grave yard that lacks the technique of Laliga, the tactical Nous of Calcio and the organisation and effeciency of the Bundesliga. Everyday more and more peoples eyes are being opened to the supposed 'best league in the world'. The era of kick and rush is truly over. This is what the High Father has been dreaming of.

It's David I think, because he's more similar to Iniesta than Thiago.

In terms of David Silva, I'm not sure where he'd fit in Barca's 4-3-3. Someone like Banega could be a better option.
