Also about the goal, Varane is not to blame. their right back is.

the biggest individual mistake last night was from Pique, but Ribery didn't use it.

Alba probably suits Spain's nifty style of play better than Monreal.

How is the crowd to blame for Benzema jogging for the entire game?

Anyway great win for Spain although France could have done better with their pressing. They had the team to do it to so it was surprising to see them just drop off.

Monreal had a great game for Spain (obviously the core of the Spanish team also had a great game).

France's young talents gave a good account of themselves. Varane and Pogba (despite the red) will probably be main stays in the France line up Smile

He needs to leave Madrid as far as i'm concerned, playing with CR isn't helping him.

It helps CR though, imagine if he was playing with someone like Falcao.

CR7 is scoring for both of Benzema and Higuain anyway. Their absence makes no difference.

A little disappointing to see how quick some of his fans are turning on him after he bombs for the NT. Especially considering this is not the first time he has performed like this.

It's not about his form, it's about him. he doesn't care. he didn't try against Spain. that's bad.

Benzema needs his hunger back I know for a fact that this is only a glitch because Ibra suffered the same for Sweden... it went so far that people wanted to start ola toivonen over him

I say when he gets his motivation back he will explode....he is still young and the ever occuring speeding isn't helping him either neither is something that would enrage the fans (national anthem) when he isn't playing particularly good

ribery suffered the same in the last wc but he was experienced enough to bounce back

just let the guy get out of his trough and he will awe you guys again Smile

As far as i'm concerned what Benzema needs more than anything else is a kick up the ass.

He needs to realise he's not a kid any more and he can't perform like this and expect to remain at the top level irrelevant of how talented he is.

Corporal Zidane needs to get his whip out again i think.

He ain't a baby, ffs grow up and actually do something about it.

I mean, I used to actually believe Ronaldo was hindering his career, but then I remeber how potent CR and Higgy were in CR's first season at the club.

It ain't Ronaldo, it ain't Higgy, it's him.
His attitude stinks, Higuain has faced WAY more adversity than him during his time at Madrid and Higgy fights for his place and is always ready to work hard.

I'm saying this now, *bleep* Benzema if he doesn't shape up.

Tbh i do think Ronaldo being the "Man" so to speak does hinder Higgy and Benz in some way and i do think it would hinder any striker.

Just the way it is, same with Messi.

But its no excuse with the way he's performed this season and i 100% agree on his attitude.

I really am a believer of his ability but mentally he's a joke atm.

This is not the Benzema i saw at Lyon who basically wrecked teams.

I'm sad and disappointed at what i see.
