Pogba is playing DM.Hasnt had the license to go forward.I think he should've been the one making advancing runs instead with Matuidi sitting back imo.

I agree. This is the first Italian team that plays pro active football. This Italain team is very in-italian.

Exactly. Generally speaking I tend to dislike Italian teams because of how defensive they are, but I actually like this Italy. They were even my 2nd favorite team at the Euro's..

Benzema could score atleast 2 behind his back lol.

You might be feeling a bit dumb right now with the great save Valdes pulled (unfortunately).

I am curious Free, do you dislike France as much as Spain, seeing as a part of Catalunya is in France?

The match went as I feared. We were outplayed by a better team exactly like Germany outplayed us.

Spain has an enormous possession of ball and created numerous chances. We had some opportunities but couldn't convert them. Deserved loss.

The players: Pogba, Varane, Valbuena and especially Ribery were good. Evra, Matuidi, Benzema and Cabaye were shit. Menez brought nothing when he came on.

Shame on Deschamps for not playing Giroud until the 92th minutes.

No, I don't since I don't live in that part of Catalunya and I think a big majority of the people living in north Catalunya support staying in France.

However, it's not a country I like very much because of how they denigrated catalan culture (and other cultures like occitanie or Briton) in order to homogenize the country from 17th century to today.

A usual motto in France was "soyez poli, parlez francais", which means "be clean, speak french".

Honestly think Cabaye should be the deepest one and Matudi and Pogba both as box to box.

You would get the best from all 3 then, instead of getting zilch from any of them.

Jallet is so f*cking bad and the reason France lost this.

Ok, but does there exist a independence movement in the french part of Catalunya or are they happy to be a part of France?

Ignoring Debuchy completely for now, based on this performance Marco Motta is better.

Evra is an embarassment for internation footbal and has been like it for years now. I still wonder how he get called up and how he manage to start such an important match.

He was completely hopeless.

Disagree he couldn't defend and slowed all the attacks down....

Why Spain didn't exploit it more is beyond me and once they did they scored.

Easily France worst player, Evra was bad too.

Benzema without a goal for France in over 1000 minutes now.

Time to get dropped finally?

Time to get the sack?

How Giroud did not came instead of him for the second half was unbelivable. I like Benzema, but it was obvious he wasn't in the match and had almost no chance to score.

Benzema got booed out of the pitch pretty badly. Been a while I've seen fans booing their own players like that, especially on the national team.
