So how do you think Spain should lineup for Euro 2012 ?

I think both Alonso and Busquets will be playing...
Also want to see Navas in place for Pedro...

I think Spain should play a 4-2-3-1 like so --

--------------------Torres--------------------

I just suggested the same think to the Italians. It seems very positive and should work. If Torres still not in-form by then, use Villa upfront and put Pedro or Cazorla on the left.

Extremely tough decision as this isn't based on form or injuries but capability and optimum choice.

For Iker my replacement would be Reina, Ramos for Puyi, Vila for Enrique, Arteta for Alonso, Mata or Fabregas for Silva and Llorente for Villa.

I could go on all day.

Callejon and Pedro becouse they both are wingers, we can see this season how Barca without wingers are suffering. You need these 2 guys to spread the width.

I think Soldado is a better goalscorer than Llorente... Really, you don't need more than that at CF for Spain. They have the best creativity in the world.

Lol @ you guys putting Callejon there, kid cant create his own shot. If you want a winger, play Iniesta wide on one side and Mata on the other, bench Alonso for Silva or Cesc

FYI Tiki taka doesn't work without 2 wingers. Both Iniesta and Mata (Mata is a poor winger in fact) can't do that. Look at Barca how they're suffering without wingers. Same goes for Spain. Especially now when they don't have Villa.

well,mata does have a poor workrate indeed.

honestly though,Spain havent played tiki taka a la barca in a while,they are more direct nowadays for some reason

Well, in my lineup I suggested a tiki taka plan. Using the holy trio (Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta) and 2 wingers.

Then Soldado to finish it off. Also wanted to point out that both Pedro and Callejon does have a really good workrate. I think that is the biggest reason Mou likes him so much, he really provides cover for his LB. Very Happy

Inesta silva on wings? Dont they need width at all?

Where are the Goal scorers? Even with 3 goalscorers they struggles to put the ball in the back of the net.

Playing such a narrow formation with out any 'great' attacking wingbacks?

Not a fan of that formation.

Silva and Iniesta both will drop deep in to midfield.
