Whats the best game/performance by your team..?

Against a real top team/big club? The best you have seen your favorite team play in a game vs a top team in your time as a fan?

Arsenal fans would probably say Arsenal-Barcelona 2-1 2011, or Real fans would maybe say Real-United 3-1 2003 where Real dominated at the Bernabeu, it should have been 7-1.

It doesnt matter if its a big blowout win or a amazing comeback.

It doesnt have to be a big blowout win, it could also be a epic 3-2 for example.

Real-Utd 2003, 3-1. IMO that was the best match of Los Galacticos. Every member of the team was excellent, especially Zidane, Figo and Raul.

Quite a few for Madrid that I've seen:

- As mentioned above that 3-1 against United was amazing.
- 3-0 vs Valencia in the CL final in 2000
- 2-0 vs Bayern at the Bernabeu in 2002.
- 3-1 vs Super Depor in 2002 (Magic Johnson was actually at the Bernabeu to watch )
- 4-2 vs Barca in 2005
- 4-1 vs Barca in 2007
- More recently the 3-2 comeback vs City and the 1-3 vs Barca

Loved beating Real home and away in 08/09.
Recking Chelsea this season was great too.

Best performance though that ive seen would have to be when we beat the Galacticos in 2003. Not to mention beating Barca the round before too.

We were pretty terrible in 08/09 tbh. I'd be more proud of the 2003 tie as it was against a top team.

To be fair we were not long back from serie B having lost so many players who are considered world class.

But yeah 03 was better for me. But to beat Madrid after being dragged down a division and forced to sell people at cut prices was a good achievement.

Well of course it was considering everything that happened to Juventus at the time.

Madrid on 08-09 were actually not that weak. The problem was Sneijder had injury problems and a falling out with the manager, and Robben had injury problems. Dont forget you guys won La Liga the year before and lost against Barca in, in my opinion, Barcas best year. So us coming back from Serie B and losing alot of our stars yet still besting Madrid was great from my point of view.

2003 is obviously something more to be proud of though.

The 2003 UCL was a joy to watch. Juve, Milan and Utd were great teams, but Madrid were on another level. Such a shame that one penalty can decide the fate of one of the best teams ever.

Dude I watched us in 2009 we were bad and didn't play that well at all. Higuain was pretty much carrying us in the league and Raul was giving his swan song before he eventually left. The team showed a lot of spirit but we mostly played defensively and relied on 3-4 players to win us games.

We eventually got curb stomped by Liverpool and Barca at home.

We should have took our chances at home in the first leg, we won 1-0 but it really should have been more. We defended poorly in Turin and Juventus fully deserved to go through after a heroic performance. No shame in losing to a team that showed the spirit that Juve did that night.

Of course in typical Juve style they lost in the final to Milan (a team we beat pretty handedly at the Bernabeu in the group stage ) which was bitter sweet for me lol

Robben was good in the 08-09 season.

Not sure why Sneijder and VDV were benched though. Overall 08-09 was a poor season though.

Sneijder got butchered by Diaby in a friendly and never recovered. When he came back we were eventually forced to play him on the wing because we were playing 4-4-2 under Juande Ramos. Robben was injured every other game and Ramos was on pain killers for most of the season and struggled a lot as a result. VDV couldn't fit in well in a 4-4-2 and when Sneijder came back from injury he couldn't keep up his consistency.

Milan v United in 07 (self explanatory)

Milan v Udinese last year (away) losing 1-0 at HT in Udine, if we lost this game the title race would be over. Maxi Lopez comes on as a sub, scores a goal and assists ES. Did i mention that 5 of our starting XI were missing?

Milan v Arsenal (1st leg) everything clicked for us, the attack, the synergy, the tactics. Before the matche i was content with a draw. Sad that we got complacent in the second leg.

Nothing really stands out during the dark ages other than that 3-0 derby win
We were terrible in CL too

Yeh fortunately we got rid of that 4-4-2.

If I think about it in detail, I still get emotional.
