They're both good CB's, but I think Varane is pretty much better at everything. Passing, composure, ball control, tackling etc etc.

I would go with Varane right now. I like Varane some of his amazing last second tackles could have been avoided if he read the game better. I seen him misread a play and then uses his speed and physical skill to make up for it, It looks good on highlights but he could have avoided it if he read the game better initially.
Nasatic reads the game really well and feels comfortable with the ball in his feet, which I really like compared to Lescott.

All the butthurt fans that got Varaned in the past couple of weeks voted for Nastasic. Can't believe the vote is so close. Nastasic isn't even good enough to clean Varane's boots.

Predictable responses here dominated by the oh so boring Madrid fans. Most of the comments reek of ignorance. Whoever sees such a substantial gap between them obviously hasn't seen Nastasic for City and how he has been their best CB by a mile and at the age of 19. Meanwhile anything Varane does is praised even if its his overlooked mistakes and performing vs the most out of form Barca in 4 years.

Varane's not made any mistakes imo. He probably made one vs Man Utd, but that was an own goal anyway from Ramos so it shouldn't really count.

varane has had good games this season .
nastasic has been part of the premier leagues best defence this season, and has played all season unlike varane who's been on the bench alot of the time.
i think varane is probably better because he is a better athlete and mourinho knows way more about football and centre backs in particular, then me and works with the player everyday . if he is convinced that varane is a quality player and good enough to start for the second best team in the world in some of their biggest matches this season, then he must obviously be very good.

Actually Varane's played since the start of the season, not every game, but yeh.... It's not just the 2-3 games vs Barca and Man Utd. He's played well ever since he joined in 2011.

All the Prem faces have been sucking on Nastatic since he moved to Man City. When he was at Fiorentina they never heard of him...

I have seen Nastasic only few times playing for Fiorentina and he was a very talented CB but my vote goes for Varane he is more completed.
