What enrages you?
Option 1:That he has moved to ManC...our direct rival
Option 2:That he has moved for 7M when he is definitely worth more
Option 3:That he left Arsenal, which was the club which made him a better player and made the world acknowledge him
Option 4:All of the Above
Option 5:None Of the Above/New Option
I know many will prefer Option 3 or Option 4 but I would go with Option 2 cos for buying a LB half as good as clichy we need to shell out more than 7M in the present transfer market.......

Re: What enrages you?
Probably mainly because he went to City, but also because it proved me wrong. I didn't think he was actually going to leave.
Players move on, thats fair enough, and he wasn't worth very much anyway.

5. Fans of rival clubs trolling about Clichy being a money ho and joining City after his comments in 2009.

Rub it in boys. Schole - " Arsenal can only dream of winning the title next season. They lack any winning mentality."
What I wouldn't give to show that guy his place. And Evra. And Neville. :@

The guy want a change of scenery. He's been at Arsenal for 8 years and in all, has been a good servant. Money, imho, wasn't the motive. I feel the hunger to play for Arsenal had slowly whittled away.

It was either 7mil now or free next year...
Re: What enrages you?
Nasri is also going free next year, yet he's valued at 20m. Neuer went for 18m+7 on his last year.
Being on his last year does not mean you have to bow down and take it. Arsenal are actually masters in hyping prices but I don't know what happened here.

. Our board don't know how to play hardball, Henry went for peanuts. They will prob let cesc leave for peanuts as well. As for nasri give him what he wants on a 5 year deal then reassure him we will challenge then put a 30 mill clause on his deal so he has the option to leave if he wantsSushi Master wrote:Nasri is also going free next year, yet he's valued at 20m. Most players leaving have gone for inflated prices, unless they've gone for free, though.gunnerlistick wrote:. Our board don't know how to play hardball, Henry went for peanuts. Henry went for 24m, but TBH, at that time 24m was quite a bit of money. It's also Thierry Henry. I don't mind making him happy for just a few less million.
Cesc won't leave for peantus, he's definitely going the 40m route. Arsenal have already rejected inferior offers, so there's no point making him go for less. He still has years left in his contract. Nasri isn't getting what he wants, he needs to react and be serious. If all he wants is money, then frak him and let him leave, he's the easiest to replace.

I'll never forget when he turned down the likes of Juve and other top clubs just so he can continue to play for us. Was very loyal. But then i just don't get why he would then join a rival club in the EPL? Makes no sense. One minute he's being loyal, the next he's kinda stabbing us in the back. I mean, EVEN Flamini didn't join Yanited or Liverpool when he left coz they are our rivals! That is respect right there. Unfortunately im not too sure on how i should feel about Clichy right now. He served us for so long and rejected offers from other clubs, but he joined our direct rivals

Re: What enrages you?
He practically FORCED a move out of Arsenal + STARTED TALKING SMACK.
He has lost all his fans. We all know how good the City ones are. Money can't buy happiness , so Clichy better start buying what can make him feel better.

I understand your argument but I know that isn't your strongest one to date; I'd say it more the emotion of it all. The most important factor is that times have seriously changed since the like of Juve and co came calling. Clichy left for City probably because the complete package was more attractive than both Liverpool and Roma-one word- Champions League!
He hardly moved to Spurs, did he?! And I remember reading an interview about Flamini wanted to move to Milan because he had family in Italy, apparently. But look, the point is that Arsenal have lost a lot of muscle on all fronts. If something doesn't drastically change, we'll slip out of the top 4!

Re: What enrages you?
Even though i am not an arsenal supporter, i care abt arsenal enough to get enraged at the fact that arsene wenger again let a players deal run to the last minute ( like flamini )in the case of nasri and clichy. Why couldnt he do it in the middle of the season when nasri was playing well and he knew there would be interest from other clubs come the end of the season. I thought he would have learnt better.
I mean you guys can blame clichy all you want, but why cant you think from his point of view, that if he really was that important to arsenal, why didnt they ensure the contract was extended.
Other clubs lose players all the time too against their wishes, but with arsenal, sometimes the reasons seem to be with respect to their contract and stuff. I guess it needs to get sorted out.
One more question. I am not familiar with arsenal's management setup, so does arsene wenger have an advisor or director apart from the board obviously to ensure the club moves forward smoothly and basically to keep an eye on him??

no, wenger has a pretty free reign on everything i think. his job is in no danger, and it seems like no one attempts to make him change either.
