He has lost all his fans. We all know how good the City ones are. Money can't buy happiness , so Clichy better start buying what can make him feel better.

Oh ok thanks for the information. I guess even great men can make mistakes and sometimes if one is caught in a fix, it needs someone on the outside to help you out. And here i think that arsene wenger now wants to prove his philosophy right more than arsenal winning the league. For him
winning the league with his philosophy >> winning the league.
After six trophyless seasons i do not think the fans would mind a trophy no matter how it comes by. But i am sure they do not want the clubs to sign players in the manner of manchester city or madrid. But wenger is hanging on to the other extreme which , now that the club is in trouble is ridiculous.
I think as Ian Rush said, someone needs to shake him up. Or maybe, he has a plan to bring in the players, but judging by his past record and action taken so far it looks unlikely.

A manager is supposed to manage all these things. Arsene wenger is not the coach, he is the arsenal manager and he is responsible for the club. A captain is responsible if the ship goes down even if the deckhand makes the mistake so point your fingers in the right direction.
And best of luck arsenal fans. Really hoping you guys can sign some good players.

I think it's a difficult job he's doing, and it's not that he doesn't know what he's doing, it's just that he has some weeknesses, and what he needs is a team of 2 or 3 people who act as advisors and assistants to him.

Re: What enrages you?
I will never selling Clichy if we had signed an established left back...
And it seems Wenger wont sign a Left back..
Thats what frustrating me..
May be we are going to see Vermaelen in LB...

Why couldnt he do it in the middle of the season when nasri was playing well and he knew there would be interest from other clubs come the end of the season. I thought he would have learnt better.
I mean you guys can blame clichy all you want, but why cant you think from his point of view, that if he really was that important to arsenal, why didnt they ensure the contract was extended.
Other clubs lose players all the time too against their wishes, but with arsenal, sometimes the reasons seem to be with respect to their contract and stuff. I guess it needs to get sorted out.
One more question. I am not familiar with arsenal's management setup, so does arsene wenger have an advisor or director apart from the board obviously to ensure the club moves forward smoothly and basically to keep an eye on him??
i think wenger waited for his form to drop and it did near the end of the season. arsenal and board was hence in a better bargaining position now than they were at mid season. Nasri wants to increase his wages so he spreads rumors in the papers that he will leave the club. the result of this is what we are seeing.
remember rooney saga it was quite similar, players want to drive up their wages and being in demand favors their stance for more wages and gives them a better bargaining position,

but then as we are seeing you run the risk of other clubs trying to sign him and it leads to a more complicated situation. I am sure you are right in a way but to me it seems like an example of penny wise pound foolish.
I am sure things are not as simple as i make it out to be but still. nasri is part of the arsenal system. sure you guys could replace him with another player but no team should give away their top talent imo. especially if their rivals are the ones that are going to gain as will be incase nasri moves
But good thing i hear is that he might not move at all. so hopefully that happens and arsenal can build on their foundation.

Re: What enrages you?
I have this feeling that whenever we play City, Clichy would be conveniently injured. Don't ask me why. Its just one of those intuition thingys.
