If he is best because of scoring then Suarez has 1 more goal than him. What he does more than Suarez?
If he is best just because he is compared (at scoring) to off form and injured Messi then yes. He is outscored this Messi. This is what most people and media think
For people there are only Messi and Ronaldo. If one fails then other automatically becomes best, no matter what he does or wins.
Ronaldo outscores messi, but still i doubt Ronaldo outperforms him, because messi is all around player, not just scoring

I absolutely love how people hate this man. From his dribbling to his "overall play" its incredible the lengths people will go to talk him down. He can score a hat trick of bicycle kicks against athletico this weekend, and I promise you the band of lunatics here will find something bad about what he did that night.

Yeah, and I don't care. But you convinently missed the part where I stated that it's hilarious to see haters rage. So therefore, I have a reason, and judging by the posts in this fourm, a pretty concrete reason.

I love his 'look at me now' celebration. That is my 2nd favourite after the Calma but that should only be reserved for big matches. His tiger claw is ok but the Dragon Ball Z is meh.

Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed he wanted to put a €180m price tag on Cristiano Ronaldo when the forward moved to Real Madrid.

Ferguson, speaking to Portuguese publication A Bola, said he was told it was unrealistic to expect Madrid to pay such a high sum for a player.

But in light of Madrid’s purchase of Gareth Bale last summer, Ferguson now believes Los Blancos would have stumped up the money.

“I told [then Manchester United chief executive] David Gill to ask for £150m (€180m) and he told me not to be naïve.

“It bothers me that we didn’t charge enough.

“I still ask myself what Florentino Perez would have said if we had asked for £150m.

“Given that Gareth Bale moved for £85m (€100m), I believe they would have paid between £80m and £150m for Cristiano. That was very disappointing.

“If we had got £150m I would talk about it for the rest of my life.

“It would have been fabulous to receive that amount of money. Cristiano moved with my approval but we didn’t receive a fair price.”

Gerard Piqué assures that the image that the public has of Cristiano Ronaldo is in no way similar to what the Portuguese forward is like in reality: "Maybe he was being very sincere what he said about being got at because he was rich, good-looking and a good player. Perhaps he was right. I know him and he's a very pleasant guy, but his public image isn't like him at all", he said during a football debate entitled 'Footballers vs Journalists'.

The Barça defender also gave an insight into many players' apparently arrogant behaviour: "It looks like we're being distant, but it's a protection barrier we put up to not get hurt. Criticism can be hard to take. When you win all is just great, but when you lose it's all so cruel."

The player assures that when he speaks to the press, he is not out to be controversial: "Many times I walk into the press room thinking that I'll just say stuff we always come out with, but then I get hot under the collar and I make the headlines."
