Ballon d'Or isn't a good centre point to base that argument on. Ballon d'Or should have objectively gone to Ronaldo last season, and Sneijder in 2010. Its credibility was destroyed in the process, as it was exposed as a subjective popularity contest.

The award should be given by analysts, not the media and coaches.

While I can understand the Sneijder debate (although he wasn't even on the three man shortlist), I don't know how you can possibly say Ronaldo deserved it last year.. based on what? Messi broke all the possible goal-scoring records, while Ronaldo flopped in 3 out of the 5 matches he played in at the EUROs.

Ronaldo back to his old self today? MAny big occasions in the CL he just flops and tries too hard. ITs evident again by his way off freekick and shots, his reactions...thats his real weakness, his temperament. Just an honest opinion Smile
