Yea i have tested the PS4 out few times before. Wanted to test Xone

Played Forza 5. It's really really really reallyyyy good. As it was apparent with the trailers at E3. Unreal graphics and easily better than NFS rivals.

My close friend is a huge Forza fan...we even used to head over his place and play with the driving wheel. Unfortunately racing games get a bit redundant for me and I don't feel as if I'm that talented so it leads to me not wanting to play online as much.

Did you find there to be a big difference in terms of graphics? That seems to be the the main topic being brought up in debates that I have overheard or partaken in.

Nah graphics are practically the same. Difference at best will be like 19.9/20 and that too because some games don't have 1080p support atm for Xone.

Only NeoGAF geeks who analyze every little pixel will notice the difference.

no because I didn't pre order it, I didn't get a day one console, even though I picked mine up on day one lol it is just the regular one in the green box not black (no difference besides a sticker they give you inside the box and it saying day one on the controller and console i believe)

That's odd. My buddy didn't preorder and managed to get the day one and if I'm not mistaken I have managed to get the day one console as well. It might not be much, but I was mighty jealous when I saw the day one print on my boy's Xbox. Essentially it is no big deal, however it feels to to know that he won't be able to play that card on me Very Happy

hmmm I think the stores around me only got day one consoles for people who pre ordered then generic consoles to fill there non pre order stock, I'm in Canada so it could be different for the States.

Apparently Microsoft will be completely overhauling the X1 Party System. I heard it was a bit of a clusterfuark compared to the 360 one from a friend. Is it that bad? It was perfect on 360 IMO.

Also, I was reading some articles last week about X1 day one boxes selling on ebay for like 200 bucks, which is weird..but it was definitely happening. Might be worth trying your luck if you have one hmm

I'd also keep hold of the day one achievement code you get if like me you don't care about such things, in a few years people think you can flip them for 500 bucks, I believe that.

Yup, the OS (as it is right now) has limited functionality. It is quite obvious it was rushed to meet the deadlines. But it was the same with 360 and countless updates were released to make it what I'd easily call the most compelling OS for a console.
