Arshavin to Galatasaray
Galatasaray keen on signing Andrei Arshavin from Arsenal FC - report
Andrei Arshavin(credit: Ryu Voelkel)
Crunch Sports Staff - 2 Jul 2011
Galatasaray are reportedly ready to make a £13.5million bid for Arsenal midfielder Andrei Arshavin
The 30-year-old has been linked with a number of clubs in recent weeks including Juventus and Aston Villa, while former club Zenit St Petersburg are believed to be keen on re-signing the Russia international.
But according to The Sun, the Turkish giants are preparing to make a £13.5m offer for Arshavin, who has twelve months left on his contract.
Although the likes of Cesc Fabregas, Samir Nasri and Gael Clichy look set to leave the Emirates this summer, the Gunners are believed to be prepared to let Arshavin leave.
The Russian wasn't a regular in the first team last season and it is thought that they are prepared to cash in as they look to raise additional funds to try and sign the likes of Lille forward Gervinho.
Arsenal striker Robin van Persie is reportedly ready to quit the club if manager Arsene Wenger does not replace Fabregas and Nasri this summer (see below).
But while Wenger is yet to make any serious moves in the transfer market, it is thought that a number of players are being lined up by the Frenchman, including Juan Mata, Bolton defender Gary Cahill and Birmingham's Scott Dann.

IF this is true, Arsenal can splash in a bit of cash to get Ada Turan.

All that's left is for Wenger to be linked with a France return, or for Nasri finally coming out and saying he's a post-op lesbian.

Re: Arshavin to Galatasaray
The best thing for Arsenal fans, is if Wenger left. Unfortunately, most of them don't realize this yet. Perhaps if they get pipped for a CL spot next year, more will come to that determination.

Swap deal?
That would be an excellent deal for Arsenal.
