Re: Sturridge || The Double Edged Sword #15
I really don't get it. So you have as first striker Sturridge, his replacements are Balotelli, Lambert you you got because he had a good season and is experienced, and a youngster.
What's there to complain about? How is that not enough depth for the position?
It's a bitch that Sturridge is injured all the time, because that means with Suarez gone you are missing the players responsible for 53 goals last season.
Why that makes your whole club run by morons etc pp I don't know. Or you think they should have kept Suarez?

Because none can score with any semblance to regularity. Our only hope/way forward is to pair Balotelli with Borini/Lambert.Hapless_Hans wrote:I really don't get it. Honestly his injury right now is just too comical
1. Get injured on Int break
2. Few days before he returns gets injured again
3. Few days before he returns gets injured again
Whats this mean he'll be out for what about 14-16 weeks straight?

“Most players you’ll find want to play through an injury to get onto the field. Very few go out there and are 100%."
Rodgers on Sturridge.
What exactly is he implying...?
Also 9 separate injuries on the SAME thigh? I wouldn't be surprised if his career is over before his 30. That's some serious shit.

From now on we need to look at him as if he isn't in our squad, so he can't count as a starter, if his fit, great. But Geez, when your this bad with injuries it hardly stops.

Star striker visits specialist in search of faster recovery…
Liverpool have sent Daniel Sturridge to visit a specialist in Los Angeles as a result of his debilitating thigh injury, reports the Mirror.
He will not undergo surgery or medical treatment though, with the Liverpool coaching staff simply hoping that warm weather training will speed up his recovery date, and get him available again soon after Christmas.
As we all know, the forward hasn’t pulled on a red shirt since August after picking up an injury while on international duty with England – and in his absence, the team has badly struggled to score goals.

It's not Sturridge especially, just over-religious bs in general that grinds my gears. I mean, thanking Jesus for coming back from injury, ugh... Kinda funny that he then got immediately injured again.

Regardless it's his beliefs, it shouldn't really grind anyone's gear unless it affects them, i'm not religious just as an fyi.

Re: Sturridge || The Double Edged Sword #15
I'm not anti-religious at all or anything. I respect all believes. Heck my parents are religious and I know the whole culture of it.
It's not even that it grinds my gears. Probably wrong wording. I just think Sturridge is way over the top with it. The guy is practically like "I can only thank the lord and nothing else for blah blah blah, for being able to take a shit, for tying my shoes, for eating cereal, for blah blah blah etc."
Anyways it's a non discussion He can credit whoever he wants as long as he's back and scoring dem goals ffs

Re: Sturridge || The Double Edged Sword #15
Well, as things stands; we may spend as much time in church as he spends in training grounds; if that allows him to stay fit 70-80% of the season at a stretch. I mean the way things stands, he (and us) does need some divine intervention.

PhysioRoom says he will 'return' on January 10. Now is that return to training or return to games???

They usually use the date closest to the game he can play in, So you expect him to be in the subs on 10th January according to them.

Re: Sturridge || The Double Edged Sword #15
10th January would be perfect, that's Sunderland away and we should beat Leicester at home and Wimbledon in the cup with Mignolet as CF. Sunderland away could be trickier, would be sweet if Daniel could feature in that match.
