Yeah hes rough around the edges and a bit raw but he was one of the few players in the team with spark and goal in him.

Thiago is a lying when he says that he chose Spain because he felt like he was Spanish.Mazinho said in a interview to globo(TV) that Thiago accepted a call up from our youth NT but CBF had a rule back then that u20 players that played outside of Brazil couldn't get called up.So ater those idiots from CBF let him go,he went to the Spanish nt

Thiago spent 8 years in Brazil within his lifetime as the rest was within Espana. Why wouldn't he feel Spanish?

Ganso please Laughing Don't be upset that Thiago (a player I know you revere) chose the right path and for us. The future is rojigualda so its time to move on Laughing

You can have Rafinha though. Very Happy

I'm not implying anything but the benefit for Rafinha of playing for Espana can be reaped by Barcelona.

-The travel cause and effects would be reduced between migrating 7800 KM from Espana to Brazil which to a future planning club such as Barca is worth Gold.

-Espana from now have and will continue to adopt a Barcelona footballing philosophy in which they will want Rafinha to develop and hone his skills so the club doesn't fear a clash in styles (which is negative for developing players). Example is how Gerrard had to adapt from Hodgson's England to Rodger's system where the difference is systematic roles is vast.

Nonetheless its not Barca's place to influence that role so directly.

Yeah, dont like it if true. We should support whatever the player wants, we have done so in the past, I dont know why not know.

Your two reasons are good ones though, didnt think of them.

Im butthurt, true that. But bottom line is that he would be playing for the Brazillian NT right now if our FA hadn't rejected him years ago.

I'm not butthurt about Thiago.. He's not a difference maker, and where would he even fit on Scolari's team. Lucas Leiva and Paulinho.. have a nice night.

btw Brazil's U-20 do or die match line-up for tonight:

Luiz Gustavo; Igor Julião, Luan, Dória e Mansur; Misael, Lucas Cândido, Rafinha Alcântara e Felipe Anderson; Bruno Mendes e Ademílson.

Man, if that's true it was a colossal screw up. But what else did you expect from the CBF?

Thiago is already better than Lucas Leiva (though he plays a different position) and Paulinho and he's only 21. In a few years he'll be better than both combined.
