Re: Arsenal Vs Bayern Munich
I think Arsenal know they are technically outmatched, and i think because of that, it will come down to who scores first. Either way i see Bayern winning, but if Arsenal score first it could be close, as they could park it. If Bayern score first though then Arsenal will need to venture out alot and try to attack, and then Bayern could embarass them.

Luiz can point to a great performance in a Champions League final. So far the biggest game of Hummel's career was that Semi Final against Italy where he was horrible.

I think he'd be great in a team that played to his strengths as a defender. He's hot and cold as the lovely Katy Perry would put it but he has all the skill sets that a great defender needs.
I've seen him play enough great games to think he can be one of the best one day.
His strengths mostly spurs from his above average technical abilities yet all too many times he has shown the lack of footballing IQ, reading of the game and simple defending 101 (positioning, zoning etc) to have the traits of a great defender in which cannot be taught as such an age. Ball playing CBs also need to know how to defend, maybe Luiz should watch guys like Hummels, Bonnuci, Cheillini, Agger, and learn how to combine his abilities with defence.
And who is Katy Perry?
I get what you're saying and it;s not that I disagree but Luiz has done enough for me to at least respect him as a player. You can't deny he hasn't had his moments. Meanwhile guys like Hummels have yet to really do that imo. Just my opinion on the matter regarding whether or not Luiz would be a better CB than Sagna
Oh and
- Spoiler:
I admit Hummels has had his fair share of blunders but he surely has proven more then Luiz though. Luiz has only garnered my respect when he plays for Brazil as for the Seleccao he is fantastic and while its true that he doesn't exactly face top level competition for Brazil, it does give a semblance of his abilities. Yet for his clubs I cannot see anything of not bar a few moments of brilliance. I remember when Milan fans were angry that Rui Costa didn't help us in getting Luiz (Costa the SD at Benfica). In the end, we realized dear Rui actually was trying to save us.
And the Katy Perry woman Those mammaries.

It's easier to defend when your whole team, including attackers help you out than defending alone with someone like Badstuber.
Hummels is so much better it's not even funny, pls stop Z

Re: Arsenal Vs Bayern Munich
If you want to crown Hummels then crown his ass but until he actually achieves anything all he is is hype.
He was flat out terrible against Italy and along with Lahm was one of big reasons Germany lost that game.
Notice how I'm not saying Luiz is better than anyone, I even said he wasn't one of the best out there. But he has great performances in career defining games. The deserves respect.

Re: Arsenal Vs Bayern Munich
Yeah lets ignore all the wonderful performances he has had for Dortmund in the CL and Bundesliga being a big reason why they haven't lost in the CL this season and why Dortmund have won the previous 2 Bundesliga's
Lets all remember the bad game he had against Italy, because that's all that matters
Not surprised Zeal is butthurt though, probably still sore from watching Madrid look clueless while Subotic and Hummels bossed them in both games

Truth be told aside from the group stages this year, he has been awful in the CL (Shaktar) along with the 2 previous years.
I agree on Dortmund's 2 straight titles where he was pivotal yet not enough credit is given to the more disciplined (and intelligent) Subotic who for obvious reasons is overlooked and continues to be overlooked.

Re: Arsenal Vs Bayern Munich
Awful other than the group stages this year? he's only played 1 f*cking game other than the group stages this year
Hummels is taken over from Ramos as the CB that this forum loves to hate and hyperbole over every little thing he does.
He makes no more errors than any other CB out there.

Lets not turn this into a fight over Hummels....
OT: I heard that Kroos might have picked up a slight injury, is it possible that he may not play ?

No.
I just mentioned the last 2 years to you which people also conveniently ignore about Dortmund.
No I am not hating on Hummels, criticism doesn't equal hate. I would like to have people stop overlooking his crucial mistakes that he made in the Bundesliga while Subotic's excellence also continues to be ignored.

Re: Arsenal Vs Bayern Munich
I've heard nothing about that ES
Koscielny is fit for Arsenal apparently, and according to The Mirror Arsenal will play this team:
Szczesny; Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Vermaelen; Arteta, Wilshere, Ramsey; Cazorla, Podolski, Walcott

You're completely missing my point.
Anyway all I was trying to say earlier was that Luiz is a better CB than Sagna
Stay on topic guys.

Lulz is absolute kak at CB, that's why he's being converted into a midfielder

His weaknesses get exposed in the kiddie pool of football that is England. If he played in Italy or Spain he'd have a better platform to show his strengths.
Even then he's still a better CB than Sagna

That's just your opinion really. I'm not going to pretend that I can make you change it. I don't think he's shit though and under the right conditions he could be really good.

warmup video, a small first season-half compilation of Bayern for those who didn't watch our games

I don't rate hummels that high. He makes mistakes every time I see him. in the Eurocup he also was bad vs. Netherlands. But I think he is better than Luiz though.
