This the least Barca can do for Arsenal, after all we have done for them.RealGunner wrote:AnonymousFC @AnonymousFC0
Arsenal remain interested in David Villa. We understand Fabregas has recommended AFC to him and the player is keen.

Wenger on Ba: "He is a similar type to Giroud and you will see Giroud develop into that kind of player."
That's a no to Ba, then.

Re: The Official Arsenal Winter Transfers/Rumours Thread
Guess this Zaha is a creative wide player..?
Can he go straight to the first team like Ox ?
We dont need Ba especially if we can tie Walcott till summer.. We can get a technically better player suited to our game in summer..
I also dont want us to spend big on Villa..

Arsenal and Manchester United have offered £9m + up to £5m in add ons for Wilfried Zaha. United have also offered a loan back. #AnonymousFC

Zaha's preference is Arsenal and has already agreed personal terms with them. Palace prefer MUFC's package. #AnonymousFC

Re: The Official Arsenal Winter Transfers/Rumours Thread
Arsenal table €12.5m offer for Adrian Lopez
Arsene Wenger has also targeted moves for David Villa and Fernando Llorente but is reluctant to step up his interest in Newcastle United forward Demba Ba due to injury concerns
The Londoners have submitted a formal offer of around €12.5 million, which is lower than the €18m release clause in the forward's contract.
The Arsenal manager has set his sights firmly on Spain in the search for a centre-forward and has also made enquiries for David Villa and Fernando Llorente, who are out of favour at Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao respectively. While Wenger is continuing to closely monitor the experienced pair's situations, the more youthful Adrian is currently his No.1 target to reinforce the club's striking department.
yet again.

Ba wants big money, no loyalty, Newcastle gave him a chance and this is how he repays them.

This surely means the end of both Gervinho and Arshavin .
I'm curious where will Zaha fit in all of this.

Ba's agents want big money, no loyalty, Newcastle gave them a chance and this is how they repay them.
Fixed your post
Ba failing to deal with Chelsea are more to do with his agents and theres also this.....
'I feel a bit sorry for Demba: people who are fuelling it aren't involved. Contact is what it is: I need it resolved ASAP' AP: #nufc
So basically his representatives don't actually represent him

12.5 mil euros won't do it though. Chelsea and Juve are looking at Adrian as well.

Was going to say that both Adrian and Arda will surely command closer to 20m euros no?

Re: The Official Arsenal Winter Transfers/Rumours Thread
Given the league position of Atletico, will they agree to lose Falcao, Arda Turan and Adrian Lopez in the same window. I think not, That kind of feat is only possible at Arsenal

They won't sell Falcao until the summer, no way they'd allow their title run to be shaken like that. I don't see Turan leaving just yet either but Adrian hasn't been instrumental in their challenge so I can see them letting him go. That's a good fee for someone they've fared well without this season.

Re: The Official Arsenal Winter Transfers/Rumours Thread
I honestly don't understand why Atleti are not using Adrian he is their best forward outside of Falcao and much better than Diego Costa.
They can beat a lot of La Liga without him but in their position i would still use him as he's clearly very good and would get them more points than Diego Costa or Raul Garcia etc etc.
All a bit confusing to me but it could mean good news for Arsenal but a bit idiotic from a Atleti point of view to me.

sport, what are the pros and cons of adrian, what makes him so good? because his goal scoring record is kinda average/pathetic.

Re: The Official Arsenal Winter Transfers/Rumours Thread
REWB, you said we can do better than Ba and are now insinuating that 19 goals for a forward who plays all across the front three is average/pathetic.... We're not signing Messi, bruh.
They're freezing him out for not signing a new contract. They want to increase the release clause in it and he's refusing, probably testing the waters outside of Atleti. Same thing we had going with Theo, not starting him at first because of a contract dispute. But they seem fine without him.
