It looks as if Inter will get to keep the 2006 Scudetto after the FIGC gave its initial verdict on the Juventus Calciopoli appeal.

The title was one of two stripped from Juve in the original Calciopoli trial in 2006 and handed to Inter by default.

The Bianconeri claim new evidence from wiretaps have come to light suggesting they too had contacted officials behind the scenes.

Today the Federation gave its initial verdict, ruling that there was not enough evidence to open an investigation, especially considering how long ago the incidents were.

It is not a final ruling, as that will come on July 18, but certainly appears to tip the scale in Inter’s favour.

"The matter has been quite clearly defined. With all due respect, the Federation can discuss it but the case should be closed because it has been dismissed." :O!!! He's giving orders now? ZOMG!!

Same person who made the decision today was the same person who put us down in 2006. And also, it would look embarrassing for them if they reversed the decision. What sucks is that it's going to be closed forever very soon, but I didn't expect anything. The same people are still there.
