There is no irreversible decline. There are only cycles.

Re: the italian football
in the last decade we had 3 CL wunners from the EPL, 3 from the Liga, 3 from Serie A, 1 from portugal. Does this look like decline to you ? well of course Serie A hasnt been as good as it used to be, but people who cry DECLINE are just overreacting

All a matter of perspective...Looking at it from that angle it definitely seems to be an overreaction, but look at it this way:
CL Semi-Finalists since 2007
England: 8
Spain: 7
Germany: 3
France: 1
Italy: 1
Now decline looks like a reasonable description, although to be fair, it looks like Serie A hit bottom the last 2 seasons with only getting 1 team into the QF each year...And Milan and Juve are still alive so far this year, so it would appear that the league is on the way up now

Re: the italian football
serie A was in decline a couple of seasons ago. If anything serie A is increasing in quality.
Juventus are back, AC Milans rebuilding process is actually coming along quite nicely.
Then there's Napoli, who still have a scrub bench but the first team is capable of beating any team with the way they can counter.

Re: the italian football
Maybe Serie A is seen as declining, because Inter and AC Milan aren't as good they were before. Yeh AC Milan are currently beating Barca, but yeh...

Re: the italian football
Serie A, as Tom said, is in a rebuilding phase. Many competitve teams are chellenging for the Top 3, and with the focus of youth, the teams can start challenging for titles again and go deep in Europe

Re: the italian football
It was on decline but i see major improvement of last year or so....
It is improving and in 2-3 years time if the improvement continues i can see the league being force in the Champions League and Europa League.
Also welcome, Catania? always nice to see new fans who support less fashionable clubs than the usual powerhouses.

Re: the italian football
In terms of stadia yeah Italy are lacking. But that's changing too.
As for fans, well every team with an actual fan base has bad fans, but the fans who always create noise work in a clubs favour at home.
The thing that worries me is clubs like Udinese who have literally no away support at times and pretty poor home support.

Re: the italian football
benvenuto fratello !!!!
Serie A was in decline for few years but the these last two years the teams started rebuilding. Tactics were changed, new generation of managers is born new tactics. Teams started building new stadiums or planing to. Teams started using their youth players slowly and are asking for B teams. Eerything is going good so far even thou the FIGC is the main problem right now at least in my eyes

There are no volcanoes at all in Australia. I saw Vesuvius last time I went to Italy, but I didn't get to go to Sicily. Next time I will go there though.
