Apparently there's no agreement between Spurs and Inter over Sneijder, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, a writer for Sky Sports Italy.

PSG please take Sneijder. Don't want him anywhere near Spurs.

He's not very good and will be on a huge contract for them.

Talks between Flamengo and Milan about Robinho have broken down apparently.

Flamengo offered 6m for him, Milan rejected it, requesting a higher, undisclosed price, prompting Flamengo to pull out of the negotiations.

Santos, Sao Paulo and Fluminense are said to be monitoring the situation.

PSG won't go near Sneijder with Pastore getting a bit better. Only reason PSG was looking around was the Pastore had been atrocious. Also, with Lucas Moura coming in, there's thought of making Menez more of a central player.

I agree as Sneijder doesn't deserve to be anywhere near PSG. He isn't needed as Verrati at the moment is twice the player he is.

Menez central? Might work but I remember at Roma he always was comfortable in playing wide as even when deployed central he naturally drifted wide and frankly was more effective there. Menez is needed wide to solve PSG's somewhat questionable lack of width.

If anything Lucas should be moved central as he is quite comfortable there or at least a wide left similar to an SES role.

isnt Menez already playing central?Or at least as some kind of SS?All of the matches I have seen recently he was playing like that in the 4-4-2.Im pretty sure PSG will look like this

Tbh, i don't think Carlo changes anything with his current lineup that is going so well finally. Lucas is going to be a rotation player and late game sub unless he blows Carlo away. Too bad Lucas is coming in January tbh... teams that contend don't look to develop anyone in the 2nd half. They go with their best. You see the experimenting in the 1st half of the season mostly.

I think Menez is going to be asked to play like Valbuena more and more (drifts left and right to support wings and create). He needs to clean up his passing. His finishing is not good enough... but he's a natural creator and should be able to help the midfield more than he is. Valbuena had the exact same problems 4 years ago.

Menez is playing as a winger on a current 4-4-2 (recently deployed) while Lavezzi is up front with Ibra.

As for Lucas I've seen him quite a bit, but would you say he is more effective out wide or central?

It's already clear that Lucas is going to be a rotation or supersub unless Pastore flops. Pastore is playing better lately. Too bad Lucas is coming in January and not to start the season... contenders don't experiment much in the 2nd half of the season. He'll need to literally blow Carlo away.

He can do it. But he's going to have to be patient. PSG is going too well lately to change anything unless there's need.

Well said. We all know that Lucas sadly won't feature all to much this season unless drastic changes are needed, or that he adapts quickly to Ligue 1 (highly unlikely).

Valbuena is a spot on point as his role is exactly of SES but sadly I don't see Menez adapting to central role given the formation along with Lavezzi-Ibra forming a formidable partnership. His creativity definitely is there yet like Ben Arfa we just see a more effective and comfortable Menez out wide. I'm sure Carlo can develop him central slowly if needed as Menez is relatively young at the moment.

Based on recent performances,I also don't think that Lucas will be an instant starter,but i do believe he will become one by the end of the season.Wouldnt be surprised if Pastore got benched by the Valencia game.

@Arq,Lucas can play AM,but he has been playing as a right winger for 2 years now.The fact that the right wing position is the most open spot in PSG's attack is what makes me think he will fit in very soon.

I think Lucas is a better player than Menez personally, and definitely Pastore. So i don't doubt he will break in at some point. Menez is inconsistent and Pastore is the most hated foreign footy player in France now lol.
