Fiorentina are preparing a €10m bid for Sporting striker Ricky Van Wolfswinkel, according to reports in Portugal.

Ojogo.pr believe that the Viola have been tracking the Dutch forward and could make a move for the 23-year-old over the winter break.

Vincenzo Montella's side have been linked with a number of attackers including Lyon man Lisandro Lopez.

But the Iberian website claim that the Artmeio Franchi team will hope to prize the former Utrecht man away from Lisbon with a substantial bid in January.

Van Wolfswinkel has been a fantastic signing for the Leoes since his arrival in 2011, scoring 34 goals in 66 matches.

Benfica place a bid for Racing's Centurion (RW) for 12M, beating Porto's bid of 8M.

I'd take Hernandez at Madrid as a 3rd string or something. I like him, he's not a good player but he's a right place right time guy that pops up and wins you some games.

I don't see the point having someone like Lewdanowski on the bench. He's a system player....perhaps he would give you holdup play you don't get from Van Persie but that's about it. He ain't really great at anything.

Hernandez is a much better player off the bench.

Isn't that sort of what Callejon does lol?

Anyway i would take Welbeck but not Hernandez.

Callejon is a bit more than that. He presses on the wing and fills in anywhere we need him. His movement is slightly better and he's the best one on one finisher on the team.

He's never really won a game for us, he's a much more stable,predictable player.

Hernadez is just throw him on and let the ball hit him on his belly or something and find it's way into the net.

Apparently we're offering Falcao 200k p/w to join this January. This club never learns, always looking for the homerun signing when depth is far more important at the moment.

No point in us signing him for a ridiculous amount in Jan when we're already out of the CL and United keeps scoring jammy goals every weekend with a ten point cushion on us.

Sign some tap in merchant like Hernandez who'll get you goals and make sure the next scrub managing us actually wants the said player ffs. How much is that Ivorian guy at Vitesse going for? He'd be a solid stopgap for the time being.

PABLO ARMERO is close to moving to a January Milan move according to reports in Italy.

According to the Italian website Calciomercato.com, Udinese and Milan are close to reaching an agreement regarding Pablo Armero. It seems that Armero will join Milan in January for a reported €10m plus a Primavera player. It appears that Udinese will be given the option to choose the youth player.
