The biggest mistake was playing mvp after the chelsea match.
We couldve started with giaccherini or pogba and they wouldve probably played with more hunger.

Re: Milan - Juventus
didn't deserve to win..of course....but neither to lose.
very weak game...both teams were awful...and the penalty..
let's say the boateng goal is now settled.
even if caceres was ok....we really missed chiellini...
..and we are back to the rotation debate. we gave everything with chelsea...and got little left for milan

Re: Milan - Juventus
Yea we dominated possession, but we completely lacked a cutting edge. We never looked like breaching their defense, the same defense that has been leaking goals all season. They never looked like breaching ours either though, the ref gave them the win. I just expext something more from our team after going down a half hour in and having a whole hour to score a goal.back. Buffon also shouldve held that penalty though. The only bright spot in this game was Padoin, who i thought looked pretty good. Overall, a 0-0 score wouldve been fair.

Re: Milan - Juventus
As much as I admire Buffon you have to save those, he was very poor today. You could argue he only let 1 goal in but it's his job and he had 2 hands to a mediocre penalty, not to mention the moment when Barzagli bailed him right out big time.
What did I just watch for 90 minutes? It felt like I accidentally switched over to Newcastle ffs.

Re: Milan - Juventus
We really need the January break so the players can rest! MVP needs to be rested more! Most importantly we need Conte back on the bench...His half time talks are what do the damage and his constant shouting of orders from the sideline! Other than that Milan won by a lucky penalty and maybe they will win a few more games but they will definitely lose many too!

If this is Juve whenthey play UCL and they dominated you with 70 % possession not letting you pass the center of the pitch and you win by a gift, than your team is a lost case and you should feel sorry about it.

The whole team was a disgrace tonight and I can not wait until Conte is back to bail us out.
Flop of the match: Chilean pair and maybe Alessio.

Re: Milan - Juventus
It's just one of those games where nothing goes right
Cannot be summed up differently
From Milan's point of view, they came out positive. They bought that penalty, I don't mean actually bought so calm down, I mean they had a large group of players immediately throw their hands up when the ball struck Isla. It was never a penalty for me, but the reaction was influential. Milan looked good on the counter, their fullbacks utterly molested juventus' wingbacks defensively. They absorbed a lot of pressure but juventus was not doing enough to create chances. They threw the ball away far too often and Milan capitalized on it more often than not.
This game had draw written all over it if not for that penalty. This is the problem with juventus' attack, down a goal, away from home with tired legs on the wings and in the midfield. This is where you look to Vucinic, Giovinco and quagliarella to do something positive. But it didn't happen. Lack of quality exposed

too bad score only counts but by stats Milan have been the better side as well, Total shots for Milan 15, 6 on target; Juve 13, 2. And it was 62% but as I mentioned it doesn't count.DeviAngel wrote:baresi wrote:This is Juve when they play CL, no surprises here

Your team got gifted victory today, victory gift by the ref as there was no penalty.

Re: Milan - Juventus
Baresi, are you serious? Its not debatable whatsoever. It was no penalty. It hit him in the side of his stomach. Not his arm. So it was NOT a handball.

Allegri: 'It wasn't a penalty'
Massimiliano Allegri praised Milan’s defensive performance against Juventus, admitted the penalty “should not have been given” and commented on Pep Guardiola
