You might want to check your AdBlock settings - either you haven activated it, or you have added the ad server as exceptions. You might want to additionally install NoScript, btw. NoScript is a pain if you install it for the first time, but when you went through the process of allowing what you want to allow, it is nice and gives you heavenly quiet from all ad stuff.
