Wages Thread
I'm talking for this season.(2012-13).This thread was made just out of curiosity, nothing much.
Juventus currently stand at a wage bill of €115m which is pretty reasonable tbh..Would be interesting to learn where we stand among other top European clubs in terms of wages.
I sense a common misconception around here.Yes we do spend a lot of money on transfers but our wages are almost twice as less of some of the big spending clubs such as Chelsea,City,PSG etc and that is why in my opinion Juve shouldnt be mentioned in the same breath as these aformentioned clubs when it comes to expenditure when you take wages into account as well.

Re: Wages Thread
Ours is €147, thats quite reasonable since we have two of the highest players in the world, once we get rid of one(you know who) our wage bill will be even less

Re: Wages Thread
This season's wage bills? I don't know how you guys claim to know them already, clubs have barely published their accounts for last season or haven't even done that yet. For instance, I'm pretty sure Real Madrid have a bigger wage bill than €147m.

Re: Wages Thread
^thats not from this season though
Gazetta dello sport has released the current annual salaries for all serie A clubs, thats all i know.
And you guys do know that Salaries are 90% correlated to where a team finishes on the table while transfer fees are only around 65% correlated? If you want your team to win, you should push for higher wages and lower transfers.

That's because the PL hasn't released it for this season yet. They normally do it at the end of the season. The season has only just began.

Dont know how accurate these numbers are ,but below in this graphic you'll also find the highest paid players overall as well.
Find it quite hard to believe CR isnt in the top 10 and Hazard earns so much Would be quite interested to see Chelsea's wage bill infact.

Why do you think he's so 'sad'? Madrid is going to have to renew Ronaldo for a big big cheque.S wrote:

Re: Wages Thread
Ronaldo is going to get a fat contract now that Kaka has left. In fact Perez is looking to make him the best paid footballer in the world. The departure of Ozil didn't make it easier to convince him though
not in a MILLION years Bale is getting 11 ME lmao. at most he is making 6/7 and he won't be getting higher than that imo
is Kaka really getting 4 ME? I thought he was getting 5 anyways he finally took the wage cut which should have happened 3 seasons ago

I would advise against including numbers obtained directly from financial statements vs the sum of each players' salaries as that usually includes bonuses & pre-tax income whereas players' salaries are usually quoted in after-tax terms.

previously I have never cared for wages or salaries in BL but now I am damn curious, I expect that except Bayern other clubs wage bills must be very low

Re: Wages Thread
Is Bale making that much money? i know those are the numbers circulating in the british press but he is not making so much. He is earning 6.5 millions net (i have heard 7 millions from Fred Hermel), which is about 14 millions euros total for us. It cant be much higher than that because that's the second level of our pay grid, where casillas is.
CR is about to go higher than Ibrahimovic at PSG, above 15 millions net. That will cost us above 30 millions per year.
