Premier League wages
Is the ever-increasing cash in the Premier League just trickling down to the players' wages still?
The latest Premier League broadcasting rights package that was agreed upon in 2013 saw an increase from £3bn to about £5.5bn, globally. There was talk about spending restrictions and improving the clubs' financial situations, paying off debt and not just allowing the money to move to transfer fees and players wages the same way it has done before. That now, finally, it was time to introduce some common sense.
Some of the most eye-catching contracts that have been signed this season:
Wayne Rooney signed a new £300,000 / week deal.
Toni Kroos reportedly being offered £260,000 by Man United.
Luis Suarez signed a new deal worth £200,000.
Aaron Ramsey signed a new deal and more than doubles his wages to "in excess" of £100,000.
Does it make sense to you? Is it just inevitable? Or does it leave a bad taste in your mouth?

Re: Premier League wages
You can't have a wage restriction or salary-cap in EPL alone. That will encourage a select group of top players to migrate to other leagues/clubs. I think there has to be similar approach in other major leagues too. 'I think' Munich is the only top club who maintains certain decency/rationality even for wages of top players. Other than that most top clubs are offering insane/indecent wages to players.
