It just doesn't make sense to discredit Quagliarella in an attempt to praise Bendtner, no sense at allPlease don't disrespect a player who suffered a severe injury while wearing this shirt
Whos discrediting Quags?? And who said anything about disrespecting him because of his injury??
You can put up all the youtube videos you want. I think its hilarious you think you can change my mind based on a few samples of his goals - especially goals from 3 years ago!
Quags is NOT the same player as before his injury - it might be bitter pill for you to swallow but thats the truth. He WAY below what he was. I think Bendtner is a better player in a STRIKING position than Quags - a penalty box predator. and I stand by that.
I think Quags is a better player outside the box.
I wouldnt sell Quags but I also wouldnt start him ahead of Bendtner as a OUT AND OUT STRIKER
His headed goal against Novara was last season
His chances have been rather limited under Conte but I wouldn't write him off, I just hope he gets a chance
And what are you basing your opinion that Bendtner is better than Quagliarella on?
Because I'm positive it's from youtube videos...
Um..because Ive been an Arsenal fan since the days where Henry left Juve to join them..1997 to be precise. Arsenal is my english team.
You want to debate the pros and cons of Bendtner - feel free - i would love to. Im 1000% sure ive seen more of him than you.
Bendtner is certainly not the Juve saviour. But he and Matri are the only 2 out and out strikers we have - hes a 1000 times more useful than Boriello. He has my support this season but I wont weep if he leaves us next season based on his record so far (ofcourse, this season will be his real test and I will reserve my judgment until later in the season)

Oh, and because the 1 headed goal is from last season, that makes him more capable of heading a ball than Bendtner - pfft, whatever son.
Bendtner is miles ahead of Quags in the air. Miles.

Your point was never that Bendtner was a better header than Quagliarella, or do you not read your own posts as you make them?
You said Quagliarella CAN'T head a ball to save his life, obviously you're incorrect
If you think I'm going to disagree with you that Bendtner is better than Quagliarella in the air then you must be smoking that good good
Really, so you've followed his loan spells, his substitute appearances over the past few years for Arsenal? I've seen a fair bit of him myself as I consider Arsenal my English team as well.
Again, I don't think you ever quite captured the point of this conversation. I was never discrediting Bendtner, I am simply saying that it makes no sense to discredit Quagliarella [as you have] in attempt to praise Bendtner. I'm hoping that he does well as well, I just fail to see how it has to be, or it will be, at Quagliarella's expense.
You may not believe in Quagliarella's ability, but I do and I'll always pull for him to do well, especially while he is a Juventus player.

Re: Wolfsburg want Quagliarella
I think Bendtner IS a better header than Quags - I thought i was very clear about that?
I never said "cant head a ball to save his life" - I just said cant head a ball. and I concede, that saying CANT was an exaggeration and incorrect. But I still dont think he wins enough aerial battles. Sure when he actually can outjump people, hes decent. But thats not very often.
Yup, Ive followed Bendtner since he signed for Arsenal. I lost him for a season when he went left premier league about 5 years ago? But otherweise, yeah, I have followed him.
Quags was a good player. No doubting that. Hes still a decent player. Just not to the level you seem to elevate him to because of what I can only gather is a rather unhealthy attachment to the player?
Ill say it again one more time to be clear - Bendter is much better than Quags as an OUT and OUT striker. I see them both as having diferrent roles and qualities. When a STRIKER is needed (which is most of the time in this Juve team) Bendtner should, at this stage, be the superior player for the position. Quags is better outside the box.

Re: Wolfsburg want Quagliarella
I agree with the entirety of your post.
Although I wouldn't call it an unhealthy attachment. I've just long been an admirer of Quagliarella, from before his days at Juventus. When he signed I was thrilled, and his form was impressive.
I have a soft spot for a player who severely injured himself wearing Juve's shirt, after playing so wonderfully.
