Wolfsburg are ready to make another move for Juventus striker Fabio Quagliarella in the summer transfer window after previously having bids in January and at the start of the 2012-13 campaign rejected, Goal.com understands.

The Bundesliga side are looking to add some more depth to their attack, and they have earmarked the 30-year-old as the ideal candidate to strengthen their squad ahead of next season.

Quagliarella has been struggling to secure regular first team action this term, and could therefore be open to a move away from the Serie A leaders in order to get more playing time elsewhere.

Wolfsburg were willing to pay up to €10 million for the attacker in the winter transfer window, but they will be hopeful of getting their man on the cheap this summer following Quagliarella's changed status at Juve.

Nevertheless, the Wolfe face stiff competition in the race for the former Napoli attacker's signature.

Clubs including Roma and Parma are also closely monitoring the forward's situation, and Quagliarella could prefer a prolonged stay in Italy over a move to the Bundesliga.

Meanwhile, Wolfsburg are keeping tabs on Torino attacker Alessio Cerci, too, as they believe the 25-year-old could be an impressive addition for the German side
