I just got my first or second S rank for doing a mission, followed the next mission by my lowest, it told me to equip a chicken hat that stopped me from being spotted completely dat E rank

I was such a jobber in that mission, I hate the skulls ffs

lol nah I won't be buying those points, seen a lot of outrage over them online.

I accidentally saw a mildish spoiler when I was looking for a weapon blueprint on google, nothing major - but I know that I'm not even halfway through the game, thought I'd played for 15 hrs but it's closer to 30 in the stats

Also RG, this is kinda stupid since it takes away from the surprise element - don't watch the start of the mission credits, spoils who will be showing up in that mission, kinda a stupid decision for them to put them at the start of missions

Only managed to get rank A in that. Missed out on S because I took 1 hour 20 minutes and had to use reflex smh. Didn't see this pos right above me[

I use reflex on a regular basis

I love reflex, I'm on mission 20 now. Gotten a fair few A ranks and one or two S ranks. There's still so much that I never even bother using, hardly ever touch my items like the pills or night vision and I never use cardboard boxes.

So many options and approaches to the game which is great though

what setup do you usually roll with ES? I feel like the best buddy so far is DD but I'm focusing completely on

ranking up the loyalty, already unlocked the bloodstained naked costume

I want to start experimenting with assault rifles but it seems like ranking up the default one is the best by far until very high end stuff

I usually roll with the the default assault rifle silenced, think it's grade 3, silenced sniper rifle (about to get the rapid fire one) and one of the rocket launchers for specific missions with bosses/vehicles

then the default tranq gun

have you unlocked any headgear yet for your outfit? I haven't ffs, but I've seen ppl wearing the solid snake gear in pre-release videos

also was stalking a random tank earlier that was called in as reinforcements during a mission, snuck up behind it as it was pulling into the base and fulton'd it

Yeah, my setup is exactly like yours, silenced assault rifle, silenced sniper and tranq. Haven't gotten any headgear yet :/

Overall DD is the best buddy imo for infiltrating and avoiding firefights, i always try to avoid fire fights, but i've gotten into some a few times where i just had to straight up murder everyone in the base

that's what's enjoyable about it though, I always try to get in and out legit, but sometimes it's just satisfying to hear 'outpost captured' and seeing 50+ bodies strewn about

I'm using the sneak suit too grade 3, mainly because I love how it looks

tried using the battle dress and it seems to be the highest rated but it looks disgusting ffs

side ops are under a separate tab

tbh most of the early episodes are like side ops anyway

maybe you haven't unlocked side ops yet, I'm still unlocking new features 30 hrs in

you found anything legit on mother base btw ES? it's way too big for me to be bothered exploring entirely, found plenty of diamonds though and a few emblems
