Stuff i forgot about as well, it was said earlier in the year but next gen really started with Bloodborne and continued into Witcher and Batman and now here's MGS and Fallout.

Should get consistent quality for now on tbh.

Well, yeah.. they're actually making some quality games now. However, my definition of next-gen games is when they start producing games that either can't be played on last-gen, or have distinctively better quality on next-gen consoles. The only example of such a game that comes to mind right now is The Order 1886 - which may have been widely considered a massive flop, but easily boasts the best graphics in any console game to date. It's the only example I can think of for a game that can't run on last-gen hardware.

Don't think Witcher 3 was possible on last gen tbf, in fact i know it isn't. The game would run at 5 frames per second and be unplayable lol.

I say the same about Arkham Knight tbh and obviously Uncharted 4 i know isn't coming till the beginning of next year but that doesn't look possible on PS3 tbh. There's quite a few i think that were not possible, maybe not to the extremes of the Order but not possible none the less imo.

If you have 50 minutes then this is a really good documentary on MGS (1-4 minus sleep walker). Official as well.

Anything with Ennio Morricone is legit, i played Red Dead with his music in the background lol.

Fantastic experience tbh, would suggest. On the story, apparently in the story line MGS 5 takes place after 3 but before 1, 2 and 4.

So to be frank you don't need to know a lot going in it sounds like, although you'll get more out of it obviously.

Yea I am quite sure Kojima designed it in a way that casuals could play it too. He will explain most incidents in the game like he did with ground zeroes (a lot of textual information on peace walker).

But it's still worth to look into the whole series. The story puts 60% of the films to shame lol
