BTW in a poll conducted recently 67% of Barcelona fans voted against signing Neymar. So Rossell is merely trying to fulfill his own personal fancies. Who knows if he is angering Pep while doing that.

Well Pep is likely leaving at the end of the season (unfortunantley).

If Rossell is thinking long term whats best for the club, he shouldn't worry too much about a manager's opinion that might not be here next summer

Let's not completely assume Pep is leaving. I am sure many players will try hard to convince him to stay. However if Rossell does things Pep doesn't like then our chances of losing him become even higher.

yes JD, I believe Madrid will proceed with oe more star signing and this would be a striker. I can see Benz or Higuain out by the end of August.

As for Neymar, I understand both he and his agent prefer Madrid.

Awful transfer window, 0 transfers at 14 July. Big fail from Rosell and company. We don't have depth, we will play in 6 competitions and we still didn't sign anyone. Not good

Aguero may be more talented but A.Sanchez gives us the versatility we need i.e. he can play both in the center and on the wings. His greater speed and work rate are also positives over Aguero. Overall I see almost equal merit in either signing and trust Pep's decision. Either of them sound a better idea to me than Neymar, G.Rossi and for that matter anyone else that I can think of. That day you made a good point that Luis Suarez could have been the right signing for us. the guys we are linked with are currently playing in the Copa America and they have said they want to wait till its over to switch clubs. Be patient

JD what do you think about Falcao? Do you think there's any way he could fit in with messi-villa-pedro?
My feeling is he's too good to be a backup/role player for us, but also too good to NOT be on barca lol.
