Personally, I would love for pastore to come since he can link up with leo and masch. However he is pretty expensive and he can't do what iniesta does

If he comes then where will we fit him in the starting lineup? If he is for bench then how can we pay such a huge price? I hope there is no truth in our links with Pastore and the media should stop connecting us with him instead talking about clubs he could possibly join. I read Chelsea is really interested in him and that does make better sense. The last six words in your post are golden. If he could he would without any question be in Argentina's starting lineup.

Yes alfred. All Pozzo wants is to sell him at a blind auction. The player must make it clear that he is a footballer and has to bother about something called a career. Pozzo could sell him to Al Ahli if given a chance.

It's been almost confirmed that five clubs have offered to pay the full release clause of Neymar which is E45m and have been given permission to talk to him.

Who are these clubs?

Goal.com says Barcelona is one of them but no way. E45m is our entire budget for the summer. Maybe we would have said we will pay in installments but Pep doesn't seem to want him either.

So let's guess these clubs. Three seem pretty much certain.

With Bojan looking like he is headed to Roma, and Jeffren looking more and more like he may also be out...we are insanely weak up front

If those two leave, we would have Messi, Villa, Pedro with Affelay and Adriano as possible subs as a winger. That's pretty much it (Affelay and Adriano arent really strikers though). That's terrible. Instead of trying to add reinforcements up front, we are trying to get rid of the little help we have (Bojan x Jeffren) and we are also trying to add fire power to an area we don't need it (Mid : Cesc, Thiago, Xavi, Busi, Iniesta, Affelay, Adriano, Masia kids). Retarded if we don't add some fire power to help out up front.

And have Thiago, Affelay, Adriano, Pedro as the subs. Iniesta might not be a good winger, but with Xavi, Iniesta, Cesc on at the same time with Alves running up the right flank, Villa nad Messi would have a TON of balls flying at them to score. Plus Thiago would come off as a sub for Xavi/Cesc and Pedro would come on for Iniesta and blitz people with his speed. Not saying I like this, but maybe this is what they are figuring to do with Cesc. Would deffinitley add a whole new deminsion to our attack

As dani has said many times before reducing a forward is a bad idea and I completely agree. Earlier I had proposed those two DM systems with both Busquets and Mascherano playing to take care of more defensive and physical teams but this season demonstrated to me that is not needed. We just need to be ourselves.

As for your point I am quite sure that if we let both Bojan and Jeffren go we will buy at least one forward even if he is less expensive than A.Sanchez is. It could be G.Rossi or Mata. Recently read reports linking us to Nani and I didn't like them much. So we will effectively have Afellay and one new signing as the two backups and perhaps one youth player ( maybe Jonathan Soriano ) will be promoted. This is not really enough cover but Pep does like working with a small squad.

Yea I don't like the idea much either, I'm just trying to make sense of trying to get Cesc within the system and keep Thiago. Also pointing out how odd this transfer window's rumors have been considering what we need/budget we have to use/what positions we are looking to strengthin

No khaled. I won't buy Giovani simply because his agent was a big nuisance for us. His case should be preached an an example for all not to follow.

BTW the latest is that Alexis Sanchez has found just the right method to arm twist Giampaolo Pozzo. He has said that either he should be sold to Barcelona or he will remain at Udinese. This is likely to really scare Pozzo because he knows that next season A.Sanchez will likely not have as great a season and his price will reduce. So Pozzo's hope of making big money out of him will go into the drain. I would say this is the most positive news I have heard about this transfer so far.

However if that deal falls through, besides mata we can also consider perotti, who might pretty cheap

Sanchez is a completely different strategy (long-term first eleven) than Mata or Perotti (at best in the future, back-ups).
